Saphire, hearing Grievous familiar raspy voice and sensing him turned in time, her lightsaber clashing with his. She was gripping it with both hands, seeing as Grievous strength wasn't something to be messed with. His cypernetics gave him that advantage. She narrowed her eyes at his smirking ones, struggling slightly to hold off against his hold. "Diek, move back!" She said. Her padawan hadn't faced Grievous before, and even though Grievous wasn't the best duellist he was still trained by Count Dooku, who was one of the best duellists out there. Unlike Dooku, Grievous was incalculable, vicious and bash in his fighting style.

Diek did as he was told, moving back and quickly ignitiating his lightsaber to be ready. He didn't know what to expect, but he had been taught to always expect the unexpected. And man, Grievous was even bigger than he expected even though Ahsoka described him as very tall. Even though he was mostly cybernetic parts he was no droid and Diek emediatly knew this fight wouldn't be easy.

Saphire glanced behind her, seeing Diek move back. She then broke the clash, rolling to the side as Grievous blade hit the ground, getting back onto her feet before back hand striking her yellow blade towards him.

Admiral Yularen was still up on the Commando Brige, seeing as the ship turned into position to make the jump. He looked back over, seeing how they were still taking fire from the flag ship, but not in the same amount as before. Perhaps Entra and her padawan were successful in reaching Grievous? If anything they had given them more time.

"We're in position Admiral," One of the clone workers on the commando dock said, looking onto the screen as they had moved into a safe direction to jump into hyperspace. The engines was riewing up.

Grievous hit the ground, his stolen lightsaber leaving a mark on the floor.
He saw Saphire attack, with a blow that was fast and precise. It would've hit him, if he hadn't had a second lightsaber ready to block it.
As he quickly clashed his weapon against her, he chuckled, amused.
"Did you really think I'd let you walk around freely in my ship, you Jedi scum?" he said mockingly, pushing her attack back as he swiped his free lightsaber towards her, trying to hit her straight in the chest.

Noreen kept running. She kept bumping against droids, clones, and other staff from the ship, as everyone got ready to make the jump.
It was crowded. Not more than usual, but it was slowing her down.
"No, please..." she kept muttering to herself.

As she finally made her way to the Commando Bridge... it was too late.
The engines were ready, and as she tried to hurriedly explain to one of the clones in front of the door why she wanted to get in there, the ship made the jump.
In an instant, they were out of the war zone. And Nory's heart sank in her chest.

Saphire met his resistance, struggling slightly as she was being pushed back. She saw him coming with his other blade and quickly separated her hilt, blocking his strike with the other half of her blade. "Well, I wasn't expecting an invitation." Saphire responded, a little cheeky, trying to get him annoyed which probably would make his fighting more sloppy. She broke of the clash by moving back, retracting her second blade and attaching the hilts together. That was the only pause she did before she came at him again with several fast strikes, attempting to push him back and get him off his balance towards the edge of the bridge.

Diek keept watching the fight, being ready and his master seemed to be doing good. He wanted to do more than just watch, but Saphire told him to stay back. She probably had this covered, right? Diek could feel how is hands were slightly damp from holding his lightsaber, standing ready. C'mom... Focus Diek. He couldn't lose focus now, he had no idea how this battle would end.

(Do you want me to play anyone on the ship for Noreen to speak to?)

Grievous replied to her fast strikes with strong, direct hits from his blades.
"If I were to invite Jedi to meet their demise here, I would certainly not call for such inferior opponents" he remarked with his raspy voice and a chuckle. This laugh soon turned into an ugly cough, which made his attacks slightly sloppier, but he didn't stop fighting. He was both persistent in his strength, and also relentless in his strikes, due to the odd movements his cybernetic body allowed him.

(Sure! that sounds good~ I was thinking she'd talk to Admiral Yularen so that he could put her through with the other Jedi to explain the situation and such~ )

Saphire met his strikes and wanted to roll her eyes at his reply, but didn't. She noticed his coughing though and took this time to push Grievous back, using the force. She turned after hearing the doors slide open and seeing two Magna Guards enter from the commando bridge hallway.

Dick turned around to face them, looking over his shoulder at his Master. "Uh, we got company." He said, holding his lightsaber up in defence as they approached him, probably there to back Grievous up.

Saphire looked back, seeing Grievous getting back up. She glanced back at her padawan, knowing he could handle them. "Keep them busy!" She said before running at Grievous going for s more direct attack. She knew they had to take Grievous out fast or who knew how much backup he'd call in. If they got Grievous they could probably take the Flagship, which would be a win for Felucia.

Saphire ran, this time jumping a couple of feet away, running on the wall, and jumping again to get behind Grievous, hoping he wouldn't be fast in his reflexes as she landed and striked at him from behind.
They were in the generator room. Or at least one of them. She was sure this ship had at least 2 for it's main engines. There was 4 power generators on platforms surrounding the circleshaped room. The bridge was a cross bridge where one door lead to the commando bridge and the other 3 connected to the rest of the ship. It was quite a far free fall between the bridges and the generators. Saphire's idea was to try and tip Grievous off his balance, but he could also stick to the wall in his spider like shape so that would probably be harder than expected. However, this wasn't the best place to fight as they were kinda cramped with areas to move and those generators were dangerously close to getting damaged.

Diek noticed his master attacked Grievous again, so he took that time in attacking the Magna Guards. They were better than regular droids and there was a reason Grievous kept those as bodyguards. He was fast in his attack, but one of the guards blocked him with it's electrostaff before swiping back at him. Diek backflipped before dashing forward and striking at the other one, cutting it's head off. "Ha! Take that!" He said, moving back only to see that that thing started twirling it's staff at him. "What the-!?" He kept backing up as both guards were attacking him simultaneously, and he had to keep blocking their strikes, barley getting an opening to attack. "Uh, master!? I think I pissed it off!" He stated, talking about the droid with no head.

Saphire looked over, seeing him struggle a little and she flipped off the wall before Grievous could strike her. She landed on her feet behind Grievous on the bridge again and threw her hand out, sending both the Magna Guards back.

Diek smiled and took this time to attack the headless one again, cutting both it's arms off and slicing it in two before facing the last guard who just got up after recovering.

Saphire smiled back and saw him go for another attack as she gave him some room to breathe. Forgetting about Grievous for a moment Saphire turned, stumbling back as Grievous abruptly turned around, his arm knocking her lightsaber hilt out of her hand. She didn't have time to wipe her nose which got a hit from his body as well, but only backflipped when his two lightsabers came slunging at her. She landed and eyed where her lightsaber had landed. Thankfully it didn't fall further down that hole but was on one of the generator platforms.

On the Republic Cruiser Admiral Yularen had contacted Jedi Master Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi again to let them know they successfully managed to escape, but that Felucia now was lost at the hands of the Separatists. He had just gotten off the call with them and was heading out if the Commando Bridge to see how big the damage if the ship was and how many soldiers they had lost. That's when he bumped into Noreen as soon as the doors slid open. She was panting and it looked like she had been running the entire ship. Even if the Admiral didn't know all of the workers personally he could tell by her uniform she was a mechanic and he also happened to know that she was one of the best ones they had. "Yes?" He inquired as it looked like she clearly had something on her mind. He really hoped they didn't have any critical damage to the ship that the displays at the commando bridge wasn't showing.

Grievous glanced at the lightsaber as well, and a strange and greedy expression crossed his eyes for a moment. He halted his attack.
"That will make a fine piece for my collection" he said with a chuckle. He could've attacked quite easily then and there, slashing at Saphire with his two weapons.
But he didn't. Instead, his obsession took over his mind for a moment, and he jumped towards the generator platform, ready to take the lightsaber. He knew that if he got a hold of it, his most dangerous opponent at the moment would be defenseless, and then he could deal with both of these Jedi with ease.

The last Magna Guard took a step forward towards Diek after its fellow droid fell, destroyed, at his feet. It spun his electrostaff, preparing to deflect Diek's next attack, so it could parry it and counterattack. Its speed was incredible, and was relentless, as it being a droid meant it couldn't get tired.
The Magna Guard kept moving forwards towards Diek, its staff spinning nonstop.

Noreen gulped. She knew her place, and knew that she was not expected, nor supposed to, go talk to her superiors like that, unless there was something important to say.
Well, this IS important she told herself, trying to remain calm.
"Sir, General Entra and Diek Aster are still on the enemy flagship" she explained "their ship got destroyed on their way there. They can't get out without us! We need to send help!" she tried to remain calm, but her desperation showed through. She truly didn't know how they'd manage to get back safely without help. And she didn't know if they were even safe then to begin with. Maybe they had been defeated, or...
She tried not to think of possible "what if's" scenarios, as she knew that never helped. But she was still worried.

Seeing Grievous go for her lightsaber Saphire quickly held her hand out, using the force to bring the lightsaber back to her hand before he could reach it. She looked over her shoulder to check on her padawan. "Diek, no!" She held her hand out as he pushed the Magna Guard back, striking it right into one of the generators.

There was electricity sparking as the droid made contact with the powersource making the generator unstable and it was followed by an explosion. "Oups..." Diek said, knowing that probably wasn't w good sign. He wasn't an expert in ships, but his guess was confirmed when the ship started tilting.

Saphire sighed a little at her padawan, looking over her shoulder for Grievous to see if he came for another attack. She turned back. "Get to the commando bridge!" Saphire ordered, adjustive her stance as the ship started tilting. She knew that explosion would escalate pretty quickly. She then saw her padawan run ahead through the doors where the Magna Guards had arrived from. Following him, she closed the doors with the force before slicing the panel on the other side so Grievous wouldn't follow them. A larger explosion was heard as the doors shut, making the ship shook as it drastically faltered losing one of its main engines. Hopefully that blast took General Grievous with it. Now they just had to get off this ship in one piece.

"Woah!" Dick felt himself lose grip and starting to skid as the ship kept on tilting, now landing on his feet on the final door to the commando bridge. Saphire landed next to him after dropping. "They've sealed the door from inside, Master!"

"Not for long," Saphire ignited her lightsaber to start cutting through the door, which now was more like the floor. Following her lead Diek used his blade to meet her halfway. The two Jedi dropped down, landing on the platform and quickly slicing the droids on the bridge, since they had all fallen due to the weight shift.

Diek stopped by one of the control panels and looked over the stats on the ship, seeing one of the main engines We're completely out, probably causing the tilt in the ship. "We're losing power. The ship is going down, and it's going down fast!"

"Oh really? How'd you notice?" Saphire only gave him a slight glare since it was kinda his fault they were losing power and obvious how they were heading straight for the planet of Toydaria as it kept getting bigger. "We're entering atmosphere... Hold on!" As they did that the ship started going down severely faster, and it was going to be a hard crash land onto the surface.

"I got a bad feeling about this!" Diek stated, holding on as the ship shook and started breaking into parts as they got closer to the planets surface.

"I'm afraid the Jedi are short on resources at the moment and the ship is in too critical condition to turn around. We cannot risk taking on heavy enemy fire again. General Entra is the reason we got out of that mess in the first place. It was her decision to stay, I am sure they is more than capable of handling themselfs." The Admiral explained. "You are needed elsewhere," he stated, meaning as to urgent reperations of the ship.

Grievous attempted to follow them, but between the unstable ship and the locked doors, he couldn't catch the Jedi before they were out of his sight.
With a growl, he put his lightsabers back on their holsters, right before separating his arms, so that he could hold onto the ship's walls and floor with all his limbs.
He moved as fast as he could, and when he reached the locked door, he took a while to open it with a lightsaber.

By the time he managed to get close to where the Jedi were, the ship was almost destroyed by the atmosphere, and they were close to hitting the approaching planet.
He knew he wasn't in danger, he had been through worse. But he wasn't happy, not one bit.

Noreen froze for a second. She knew that would be the answer, she knew all what he said was true, yet she was still hoping maybe there was something to be done.
"Right... Right, I'll take care of the repairs" she said with a nod, knowing full well how much damage their ship had taken. She needed to go help.
She knew there was nothing else to be said, so she gave another nod and turned around, leaving towards the engineer station.

Her mind didn't stay calm, though. She knew Jedi were extremely powerful, and she knew both General Entra and Diek could handle themselves. But she had a feeling that things weren't going to go smooth for them, and so she couldn't help but think that she had to find a way to help.
Even if she was just a simple mechanic.

With a sigh, she hurried towards the places where she was needed most. Many droids were harmed, and many parts of the ship had been either damaged or completely destroyed, so she had much to do.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Page 2 Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Grievous Flag Ship was heading straight down for the planet of Toydaria indeed. As it entered the atmosphere gravity pulled the ship down even faster. Saphire had been in a few crashes before, and made it out alive from all of them, most times because of Anakins piloting skills. Even though he was the reason the ships went down from time to time she was missing her best friend at the moment as her own flight skills were no where near his level. "Hold on tight!" She told her Padawan, strapping down into a seat each to try their best to level the ship.

The ship kept on breaking as they came closer to the surface. The atmosphere on Toydaria was thicker than most human bound planets, which caused the ship to be too heavy to stick together as gravity pulled them down. Big chunks of the side of the ship were torn off, followed by the damaged engine. The ship shook massivly before it broke of into more parts, seperating the commando bridge from the ships body, leaving no control to stear as they crashed onto the surface.

The ship was probably spread out across miles of the planet, leaving big dents in the ground along with the rubble. The commando bridge didn't make an exception as it had also crashed pretty hard onto the surface, breaking off several trees before finally comming to a stop, leaving the two Jedi knocked out cold. The dust cleared and only light smoke were seen in the sky from the crash site.

(Do you want to skip till later if Noreen and the ship meets up back at Couruscant for repairs or something and then maybe some Jedi like Obi-Wan and Anakin has rendevous there and she tell them what happened or something and we can do a rescue mission?

After some tortuously long time, the ship finally landed in Coruscant.

Noreen had kept herself busy, working around the ship to keep it stable enough for it to reach their destination safely.
It had helped her keep her mind distracted, but now, as they landed on one of the platforms, her heart started racing again.
They hadn't had any news about them yet. And she couldn't help but worry.

She helped some heavily damaged droids to get off the ship, as she hadn't managed to repair them all. The more specialized tools for repairs were back there, on the planet, so she wasn't worried at all. She knew they could patch them up.
"Don't worry, guys. We'll get you back on your wheels in no time" she assured them with a smile as they finally made their way out of the ship.

Around them, Coruscant was as busy as always. The skyscrapers were looming high above the city, and all manner of ships were flying in a hurry around them. This sometimes reminded her of her home planet, Mandalore. Only there, in Coruscant, everything felt less claustrophobic, for obvious reasons.
