Avatar: The Last Airbender

"The Kyoshi warriors will help!" Sokka insisted. "Now go!"

Sang didn't really like the idea of running either, but after the last encounter with Zuko he knew that he couldn't just battle him and his army, at least not alone. He also didn't want his friends to get hurt. Besides, if they left the village chances were that Zuko and his men would leave too.

"C'mon Aang!" Amiie said, grabbing the young airbenders arm and also making sure Miya followed so they could get Appa.

Miya didn't like leaving her family either fight, but she knew what it was for the best. Besides, the faster they left, the faster they would get Zuko and his little army away from their village. If only she could talk to Zuko, Make him see what he was really doing and talk some sense into him... No, there was no talking to the prince. She should know better.


"Attack!!!!" Sokka cried out, hurling has boomerang and hitting the back of two soldiers heads, knocking them down to the ground.

As the Kyoshi warriors went to attack the fore nation soldiers Zuko kept his eyes peered pit for the Avatar. He knew he was hiding here somewhere, especially after seeing the two villagers from the water tribe he recognised. "Where is he!?" Zuko demanded to know as he approached Sokka, seeing Katara behind him.


"C'mon Appa! We gotta get out of here!" Aang tugged on the reins to get the attention of his bison. That's when Amiie turned, catching fire from the corner of her eye. "Look out!" She said, before a giant fireball struck down into the stable, causing Appa to become afraid as the flames spread around the area.

"He's gone! Far away from the likes of you! Now, get out of their village! " Shouted Katara before she water bent some water out of the barrels along the streets and began to attack him. And while she did that, Sokka went to help out Suki and the other kiyoshi warriors.


Miya how to duck out of the way, but when she rose her head up, she saw the entire barn on fire. " Oh no, oh no, oh no! I don't have enough water to stop all this! " She told both the airbenders.

"Take a deep breath! And Amiie, here's another lesson for you! Help me bend the air out of the barn to snuff out the flames! "He told the other airbender, because without oxygen, the flames would cease.

Zuko moved to the side, avoiding her lame attempt at an attack. "Please. Think you can beat me!?" He moved, sending a powerful attack from his hands, followed by a jump kick, thrusting more fire at her. She was only a distraction to him.


Amiie followed Aang's lead, ingesting air into her lunch at the same time as him, drawing the oxygen out of the building, which quickly caused the flames to die down, but it wouldn't stop them completely as long as more oxygen filled the air after they stopped bending.

Amiie then spotted the fire nation prince attacking Katara and she gasped. "Aang, look!" He pointed over, seeing Katara needed help. Aang was the only experienced bender there really.

Aang saw how katara I just rolled out of the way to avoid Zuko's flames and he growled under his breath. "Okay, new plan. You two get Appa ready. I need to go help katara and the others! "

And before Miya could tell him anything, Aang was off.

He attacked Zuko with a wave of air. " Your fight is with me! Leave the village alone! "

Zuko slid backwards by the wind but growled and ignited fire blades from his fists. "You had your chance to come willingly. Now I'll burn this village to the ground!" Zuko then attacked Aang.


"We gotta do something!" Amiie told Miya, seeing how Aang engaged in battle with Zuko. The village was on fire. They needed to run now so that the fire nation would follow them. "C'mon Appa!" They tried to get Appa to move but the bison was afraid of the flames.

Aang parried Zuko's attacks by simply dodging them, then attacking him from behind himself. " I won't let you do that! These people are innocent! "


Miya had to think quickly. Then she got an idea, but she knew that the bison wouldn't like it.

"Sorry about this, Appa," she told him before looking at Amiie, "when I say jump, jump onto his back."

Miya quickly ran behind the air bison and got some water. She took a deep breath and concentrated before she made it into a whip. Then she whipped Appa's tail and before he could take off, she shouted to Amiie, "jump! Now! "

"I don't care. Their lives are on you now!" Zuko said before he growled, firebending strikes from both of his hands, causing the flames to set fire to everything behind Aang as he dodged.


Amiie jumped onto Appa's head, taking the reins. "We need to get the others!" She said, seeing the fight from a better angle now. "C'mon Appa!" Amiie flew the bison down to where Katara was struggling with some firebenders and the bison landed before whipping his tail, sending the soldiers back with a powerful force of air. "Katara! We have to run. It's the only way!"

"but the villagers-" Katara started to protest before Sokka got his arms around her waist and then he grabbed onto Appa's fur. "Sokka!"

"She's right, Katara! We have to go, " Sokka sad even though it was killing him to leave Suki to fend for themselves, even though he knew that all of those women have had training and knew what they were doing.

Miya helped her siblings onto the saddle before Appa went back to get Aang.

Aang didn't want to go anywhere until he heard his friend's voices calling for him. He looked at the burning village before he squeezed his eyes. Then with a powerful breath, he sent Zuko flying while he himself had catapulted himself onto Appa's back so all of them could get out of there alive.

Miya looked down at where she saw that Zuko had ended up in a tree and she frowned before looking away in shame. All of those villagers.. The village itself was probably going to be no more because of them..
