(Right!? haha. Do you mind starting? It could be on the wedding day? getting ready )

((I don't mind ^^ Its gonna be about six months later, just to be a bit more practical about the wedding. Of course it won't be big, since its a little last minute, but it'll be nice still ))

It was about six months after Wally's death and things seemed to be looking up for both Sky and Carter. Well, Carter didn't know about why Sky seemed a bit more chipper than usual from the phone calls and letters she read, but it was nice that her best friend was doing better than even she could anticipate. Also, Carter was doing much better because she had gone home that night to talk with Dick and he ended up proposing right there and then.

So now here they were, on their wedding day which was just gonna be a small wedding with their closest friends and family. The Team was going to be there, along with Bruce, Alfred, Paula, and Artemis. Even Jade, if she desired to come. Also Stefan, but fuck Damon. There were some of Carter's civilian friends and even Dick's, so it wasn't too big. Bruce had paid for everything and even offered more, but they wanted simple. Actually, the only thing that was extra was Carter's dress. It was a gorgeous white dress that she picked out with Paula and Artemis. It was off the shoulder with long sleeves, kinda glittery and had a 'princess' look to it. She really did love all of Sky's dresses back in the palace. Her blonde hair had grown to where it was put in a small bun and the rest was curled.

Once she was done getting ready, she waited to see Sky since she really wanted her to be her Maid of Honor just like she had been Sky's at her wedding. That's why she was actually waiting near the entrance of the gate where she was having her wedding. It was an outside wedding, in a beautiful spot in the woods with lights strung about the trees and a beautiful archway where she would be getting married under.

( No, no. I get ya. 6 months make a lot more sense! aw, and so romantic!)

Sky had been doing good in Ireland. All while the staff at the royal court had been suprised about their Queens quick moodchange, Damon had made sure to compell whoever needed to to not bring Wally up. The illusion still needed to remain if Sky were to feel better. Sky had been suprised to recieve an invitation from Carter to her and Dick's wedding. Of course she would go! Normally Queens didn't travel to informal occations out in the open, but it was easier to travel with Damon. Actually, she and Damon had grown quite closer these last months.

So here she was. Sky stepped out of the car with a simpler dress of hers, not wanting to overshine the bride. She smiled at Damon, who had just opened the door for her before she looked over his shoulder, seeing Carter waiting by the entrance gate. She gave her best friend a smile and let go of damons hand before lifting her skirt and actually running over to hug her. She hadn't seen her best friend in half a year. "Carter! I've missed you so!" She said, pulling back and she smiled. "Congratulations!" She was so excited for her and Dick about the wedding. She couldn't wait to get married herself one day...


While Carter was welcoming Sky, Dick was trying to shake his nerves in the changing room. "Hey, take it easy alright. It's not as bad as everyone thinks," Roy, who agreed to be his best man said as he made sure the suit Dick had was on just right. He had been through this with Jade after all.

"Heh. Yeah, thanks," Dick smiled a little. He really wished Wally could be here for today. He missed him so much. But he knew he was here, just like his parents. "Okay. Okay. I'm ready. How hard can it be, right?" He smiled. Honestly he was mostly nervous about forgetting something he had to say.

"That's the spirit!" Roy smiled.

Carter had begun to get excited when she saw Sky's limo, but her excitement quickly turned into confusion when she saw Damon step out of the car first. What the HELL was that monster doing here!? Her confusion increased when Damon actually fucking smiled and helped Sky out of the car and for a second, Carter had the crazy assumption that Sky and Damon were...

She snapped out of her daze when Sky had hugged her and she got a little smile before hugging her back. "T-Thank you! And, I missed you, too! You look beautiful," she said, seeing the nice dress. She wore the right color, since Carter had asked Sky in her letter to wear pink as it was the colors of their wedding, pink and green. Her smile then turned upside down when she saw Damon approach. "Damon. How...fortunate you were able to make it today. Your brother is actually already inside."

"Yeah, he's a stickler for being late so he arrives early to show off," Damon chuckled. He held out a present. "Congratulations to you and Dicky."

"Thanks," Carter said, half attempted to throw the box at his head. She looked at Sky. "Hey, uh...can we talk after the ceremony? Alone?"


Bruce walked back into the little changing booth that the boys were in after checking on the preparations. "It seems that Queen Sky has arrived, so that means everyone is here. You ready?" he asked his adopted son, of who looked so grown up and handsome.

(Absolutly beautiful!)

"Um yeah. Of course," Sky smiled and nodded.


"Don't know if I'll ever be, but I guess I'm gonna have to," Dick said, giving a nodd and a smile to his adoptive father. He knew Carter didn't exactly invite Lawrence Crock to the wedding, and since paula had difficulties wheeling down the aisle outdoors Bruce had offered to walk her down the aisle.

"Okay, let's go," Roy nodded before they walked out to take their places, Bruce going to meet up with the bride.

Carter smiled a little and looped her arm with hers, telling her about how Roy was Dick's best man, so she'd be walking down the aisle with him and then the rest of her bridesmaids - of whom were actually M'gann, Artemis, and even Paula - were next. "So, yeah. That's it," she said, stopping before seeing Bruce. "Hey, Bruce. Dick ready?"

"He is. He's waiting for you," Bruce said before giving a little bow to Sky. "Queen Sky. Its good to see you again."

Sky smiled. "Hello Bruce," She always liked him, even if it was a scary thing that he was Batman.

She gave a small smile to Damon, seeing as he went to sit down in the audience, next to his brother, Stefan, who was also suprised to see him there he didn't think they would invite him. 

When everyone was ready the cermony started. Dick was trying to keep his composure. More excited than nervous. At least he didn't have cameras, well, tv news cameras on him like Wally had on his wedding.

The ceremony started and things went fine just like at Sky's wedding. Sky went down first with Roy, then followed by the bridesmaids and Dick's choice of groomsmen before Carter was escorted down the hall with Bruce. It meant a lot to her that he had accepted to walking her down the aisle when she asked him a couple of months ago. Thought it even made him happy.

She looked up a little more, her nerves starting to calm down after seeing Dick standing at the end of the aisle. He looked so handsome! Agh, she was so glad he didn't slick his hair back. It was much better with a little spike in it.

The two stopped and Carter gave a nod and mouthed 'Thank you' to Bruce before grabbing Dick's hand. She giggled a little as everyone sat down and she smiled at him. "Hi," she whispered.

Dick couldn't do anything but smile. She was so beautiful! Perfect. He wasn't even sure this moment would happen over 6 months ago, and now here they were, at their wedding day. The weather was great, the location, and her. Everything was just perfect. "You're beautiful," He told her, with a smile.

Sky smiled, so happy for thw two of them. They deserved this so much!
