A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Star_w10

War on several fronts! The Republic and the Seperatists are both trying to win battles that will be crucial for their victory in the war. Only a few planets and systems have managed to remain neutral.

Trying to win them over, Seperatist Leader Count Dooku's droid army has seized control of the major hyperspace lanes, seperating thr Republic from the majority of the Clone Army. With few clones available the Jedi generals cannot gain a foothold in the Outer Rim and more planets choose to join the Seperatists.

While Jedi are occupied fighting a war, no one is left keeping the peace. Chaos and crime spread and the innocent become victims in a lawless galaxy.

Welcome to the world of Star Wars. This RP takes place within the Clone Wars 22BBY-19BBY, but will continue expanding past that time period.

Bio: Saphire Entra was a force sensitive foundling, found on the planet Christophsis. During the negotiations of the planet to join the Galactic Republic, Jedi Knight Mace Windu & his Master Cyslin Myr were sent along with the senators as representatives of the Jedi Council. During their visit they felt a strong presence of the dark side of the force. The two investigated, as Cyslin felt there might be a dark threat nearby. Their investigation was short-lived and they ended up finding nothing, but the dark side still surrounded the planet.

As the negotiations to join the Republic forthwent and they were about to close a deal the planet was bombed by the seperathist. It was a warning shot that the Christophsians had picked the wrong side. The tall crystalline skyscraper, from where Christophsis exported their cyber crystals, was one of the damaged buildings in the attack. Mace Windu had been the one to secure that building. Upon entering the building that was sending out smoke he’d stumbled upon an infant. The child was crying in the pile of crystals spread out across the floor. Looking around for other survivors Mace only saw dead bodies. One of them belonged to a young human woman who was lying close to where the wall had exploded. The child's mother, probably, as the other bodies were Christophsian. Mace's attention turned to the child, who’s screams seemed to harmonize by the flickering glow of the cyber crystals surrounding it. Almost as if the crystals were trying to comfort. The young Knight understood she had to be force sensitive, and even so, she was alone. Mace took the baby back to advice with his Master, who agreed that bringing her back to the temple was the best thing for her. As she wasn’t given a name, they gave her the name Saphire, after the crystal planet.

Like any other force sensitive child, Saphire was trained in the ways of the Jedi and although one year early, she past the tests, she became Mace Windu’s Padawan at the age of 12. This is when Saphire got to know Anakin, who had already training as Obi-Wans padawan for a year. Even though Obi-Wan and Mace wasn’t always sent on missions together Saphire and Anakin became close friends while spending days at the temple. They were both very competetive, so they used to compete in all sorts of things. Anakin was naturally talented so even though he hadn’t had the same training, he was keeping up. Saphire always thought Anakin felt a little left out because he wasn’t brought into training like all the other Jedi, and so most Padawans distanced themself from him, thinking he was a weirdo with the rumors going around of him being “the chosen one”. No one really understood what that meant, not the padawans anyway, but Saph didn’t really care.

As the years past, however, you could tell that all that extra training did pick off, as Saphire past the trials for Jedi Knight at only 18. She trained as a Jedi Knight untill she was 20, then she took on a Padawan herself, just as the war started.

Personality: Saphire is a wild fire by heart, but having grown up with Mace Windu as her Master, he sure left a mark on her. Saphire is serious in her role as a Jedi and knows that her duty as a Jedi must come before anything else. However, when she spent time with Anakin when they were Padawans, competing, he always brought out her fun side. This has continued until this day whenever she’s assigned on a mission with Skywalker. Saphire is confident in her abilities, but not overly confident. She tries not to let anyone know how she’s disturbed by the fact that she does not experience regular “force dreams or visions”. For some reason she has the more rare ability to sense echos. This was something she discovered while training as a jedi knight on her own. Entra has a sense of humor when she’s with the right people. She’s even made her Master muster a smile.

Because Saphire doesn't know much about her past she always makes sure to stay informed about things. She’s very perceptual and has a high intellect. It’s hard to let anything past her. As an example she’s aware of Anakin’s relationship to Padmé, though she never mentioned it. Although Entra is driven by the Jedi Code she’s more complex than that and does not believe in the Jedi Code. She sees it more as “the easy way out” and does not believe that there should simply be light or dark. She believes that both are needed to co-excist and does not fear the dark side. While she doesn’t embrace it, she still feels at peace with it. One could say Entra is more in the beliefs of the Gray code. This isn’t something she talks about out in the open, but even her Master knows that she’s never seen everything black and white. However, that hasn’t stopped him, nor any other Mastr on the council from pracing it.

Saphire is controlled both by her intuition and her perception. She let her feelings guide her but does not let them decide. She tries to keep neutral and think through conflicts. She has both a soft spot, and determination in making hard decisions. Entra prefers to fight in a Niman style combined with the Juyo form, meaning she combines powerful and precise strikes while also mastering a double-sided blade that splits in half. Usually she fights with only one blade ignited though, and only uses two blades for special moves. Saphire is also known for having a calm, but effective fighting style, using the force frequently in combat. She’s fought in situations by only using the force and managed to hold up. She’s strong with the force and although no one knows it, has inherited that from her father who used to be a powerful dark side force user.

Looks: (Havn't drawn her yet)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Post by Lily07 Fri Apr 09, 2021 6:07 pm

Name: Noreen Jakiv

Age: 16

Race: Human-Mandalorian

Home Planet: Mandalore

Current planet: Coruscant

Occupation: Ship and Drones Mechanic

Abilities: Fast learning and problem solving skills when it comes to machines. Good vision, attention to detail, and dexterous hands. She can reverse-engineer many types of machines to know how they work and re-purpose them to serve her. She's an overall good pilot, but really bad at aiming guns, preferring to rely on tech and droids in case of needing protection.

Bio: Daughter of two mechanics in the planet Mandalore, under the peaceful rule of Duchess Satine Kryze, Noreen grew up in a comfortable home, surrounded by machines. Her parents worked hard fixing ships and drones, and taught her all they knew so she could some day join them and work on their workshop together.
Noreen had an easy childhood, far from the worries that other planets had, especially when the Clone Wars began. She only had to worry about fixing small drones that fell into her care when her parents were too busy working.
But when she was a little older, and the war conflicts finally reached Mandalore, everything changed.
For starters, she met Diek, a young padawan training in the ways of the Force. He had come to her planet in a mission for the Republic, and they had met by chance when he had arrived to her parents’ workshop looking for help with his R3 droid. Her parents were gone, having work to do repairing a big cruise ship that didn’t fit in their hangar, and so she took on the job.
They talked for hours, even after the repairs were done, and Noreen learnt a lot about what was going on out there, in the rest of the galaxy, in the war. And she was angry. How could they stay there, not taking any sides, when so many people were dying? How could they cross their arms and say they didn’t want any conflict, when others couldn’t enjoy that same peace they had in their own planet? It wasn’t fair.
And so, Noreen decided she’d leave her home planet, even if it was a really hard decision for her. Her parents didn’t allow her to leave, saying her mind was being brainwashed by those annoying Jedi, and that she didn’t know what she was doing. That their peace was more important, that staying neutral was their true strength. But she didn’t believe this anymore.
Noreen stole a ship one night after her mother had forbidden her from leaving her home until she changed her mind about the war. She had been repairing that ship for months, even when the owner had died after an attack. It was her parents’ property now, but she didn’t care, and took it without them noticing. In the middle of the night, she left, leaving behind only a note for her family to see, in which she said goodbye and apologized for escaping like that.
She then joined the Republic, and started working for them, even going on missions as an emergency mechanic to help with droids and ships in the battlefields. She started working alongside Clones and Jedi alike.

Personality: Very curious by nature, Noreen can't ever accept answers to questions without a justification. Whether it be rules, personal reasons, laws, orders, or anything, she'll always question why she has to do what they're telling her to do, or why the person she's speaking to thinks the way they do. She wasn't always like this, but after meeting Diek and learning about all the things she didn't know about the galaxy, she has decided to never simply accept things as they are.
Besides, she was always curious about how machines worked since she was a kid, so her curiosity doesn't stop simply at rules. She'll mess with any piece of technology she can find, and sometimes she even takes things apart simply because she's bored. It is hard for Noreen to stay calm and keep her hands still, so she always has something to fidget with in case she gets bored. She always keeps a multi-tool with her in case it is needed, but also because it gives her comfort.
Optimistic most of the time, she believes there's always a solution to any problems she faces, whether it be big or small. Usually, however, these solutions involve droids or machines she wants to change or build from scratch, which makes a lot of people annoyed, as most people wouldn’t think that machines are the answer to every single thing. For Noreen, however, the potential of droids and mechanisms is limitless, so she’ll always try to find a way to use them to help her out.
She’s rather emotional, and her way of approaching problems and life in general are more based on her feelings and intuitions, rather than simply following logic and reason. She learns by doing and undoing, instead of reading and studying, which makes her approach sometimes clunky and unreliable, but she always makes the best of any situation, and learns a lot from her mistakes. She’s not afraid of failing, rather she’s always enthusiastic about the things she can learn when something goes wrong.
She does get sad and unmotivated easily if she lets other people down, feeling useless whenever her inventions don’t solve problems other people have, or whenever people don’t trust her ideas. She doesn’t get angry easily, but she will get mad if people misuse or treat badly her droids, ship, or any of her work. She’ll always defend droids of most kinds, and she even wishes she could simply repurpose all battle droids the Separatists use, instead of destroying them, as she knows it’s not their fault that they were programmed that way.

Name: Diek Aster

Age: 16

Race: Human

Home Planet: Naboo

Current Planet: Coruscant

Occupation: Jedi

Rank: Padawan

Abilities: great mobility, acrobatic skills even above some jedi. His background in the circus gives him an understanding of physics, and how to take advantage of his skills with his use of the force. A cool mind analyzing situations, he uses the Force quite easily when it comes to meditation and foreseeing his enemies’ moves. He doesn’t use the Force during battle, however, preferring to simply rely on his skills and battle experience. He’s oftentimes also relied more on gadgets more commonly seen being used by Clones rather than Jedi, using flash and smoke bombs as distractions during combat.

Bio: Diek never stayed in a planet for long. All his life, him and his family traveled throughout the galaxy alongside the circus they were a part of. Acrobats of great renounce, the Aster Acrobats were well known in most civilized planets.
He was raised in this circus, surrounded by people of all backgrounds, and with all sorts of skills. He learnt a lot from his parents and siblings, being one of the best acrobats in his family. But he also took the time to talk to all other members of the crew, learning their stories, about their planets, their cultures, everything. This was very useful whenever they traveled, and he took the time to talk to locals so as to know more about their ways of life.
By the time he was 8, he knew many languages, was an expert in acrobatics and performative combat, and he had traveled far and wide across the galaxy. He also had good relationships with the animals they had in the circus, having an easy connection with them.
He didn’t expect, however, that tragedy would strike one day as they visited a planet, as always, to perform their show.
The show went on as expected, ending with thunderous applause. But these cheers soon turned into screams of fear, when suddenly the tents were all surrounded by mercenaries. They never knew who had hired them, but they wiped out everyone they saw, both from the audiences and the circus crew.
Diek tried to escape and help his family at the same time. It was in this moment that his connection with the Force manifested. He had always been able to foresee events, he could jump and make stunts that no one else could, but no one had ever imagined the reason for this was his attunement to the Force.
But it was at this moment, when he had stood between his smaller sister and the bandits, that he had managed to push them away with just the wave of his hand, finally revealing the true nature of his skills. Sadly, no one was there to see it besides the mercenaries.
Being an 8 year old who didn’t understand his powers, in the end he couldn’t save his sister, nor anyone else. He managed to escape, however, getting inside a ship that was heading towards Coruscant, a ship belonging to one of the members of the audience.
In this planet, he spent a month living in the streets, stealing to eat, and doing whatever he could to stay alive. It was in this state that one of the Jedi Knights found him, having sensed his connection with the Force and seen what he was capable of as he jumped from wall to wall to get away from the police. Diek didn’t get far, and the Jedi offered him a better life after catching up to him.
He had to start his training late, but the Force was strong within him, and his combat and acrobatics skills were really helpful to get him up to speed. He struggled with the more philosophical parts of the Jedi training, questioning many rules that younglings wouldn’t often think twice about.
But despite this, he learnt fast, as he had always done. He showed compassion, strength, discipline, and more, despite his constant questions, cockiness and odd sense of humor that some Jedi couldn’t get behind.
Finally, when he reached the right age, he was taken in by Saphire as her Padawan, and Diek couldn’t wait to show what he was capable of.
He never did learn who had caused the massacre that had ended his whole family’s lives, but he is determined to one day find out. He knows thoughts of revenge are not something Jedi should hold, but he can’t help but wonder how it’d feel like to know who did it, and maybe get some justice served.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Post by shinefairy Sat Mar 05, 2022 8:50 am

START

The emergency beacons was echoing across the Republic Star Cruiser, making it clear for everyone they were being under attack. The ship was hit once more, making it hard to keep your balance. Clones were running across the hangar, getting into formations and boarding their ships. It was rare that one of the biggest Republic ships took damage like this.

There were several ships circuling the radar around Toydaria. A once neutral planet were caught in the conflict between the Republic and the Seperatists. After Master Yoda had protected the Toydarian king from an assasination attempt from Asajj Ventress the Toydarians had been willing to join the Republic, something the Separatists didn't take lightly on. Henceforth the Republic army was under heavy attack from the Seperatist fleet, lead by General Grievous. They wern't expecting an attack like this and with few resources left to spare no one was coming to help.

"We are under heavy attack! We can't keep the blockade much longer. The Seperatists are breaking through!" Admiral Wullf Yularen stated. On the other side of the holoscreen were Master Yoda, currently located in the Jedi Temple after returing from his mission. He was joined by Jedi Master General Obi-Wan Kenobi, who were batteling another fight in the outer rim.

Master Yoda sighed in thought of the situation. "Out of recources we are. Send any more Jedi, we cannot." He spoke.

"I'm afraid Master Yoda's right. We're falling back on our front as well!" Obi-Wan stated, looking a bit distressed as he spoke. Clearly they were under attack as well.

"What of General Skywalker!?" Yularen asked, stumbling when the bridge shook, but he placed his hands onto the desk.

"Anakin is busy leading the operation on the Rishii Moon." Obi-Wan said before a heavy frown was on his face. It wasn't good that they'd lose Toydaria to the Seperatists so short after gaining them as alies. "I'm afraid we're out of options. Fall back. Try to spare as many clones as you can. We can't lose another Cruiser." Obi-Wan responded.

"Right, Obi-Wan is. Fight another day, we must." Master Yoda nodded.

Admiral Yularen simply nodded before the call was ended and he gave his orders. "Abort all attack formations, perpare the hyperdrive engines!" At least they were still intact, even if the Cruisers shields were down.

Meanwhile on the Seperatist flagship led by General Grievous Jedi General Saphire Entra was roaming the hallways, cutting battle droids down along the way. She used her lightsaber to block an incoming shot at her head before she pushed her free hand forward, sending the newly incomming super battle droids back into wall at the end of the corridor. She turned around in order to see her padawan cut appart his last droid. She simply gave him a nod, saying. "Let's go!" before retracting her lightsaber and running down the hall.

It was she and her padawan, Diek Aster, who'd been sent by the Jedi Council to back the Republic fleet blockading the Separatists from entering the Toydarian atmosphere. They'd been the closets after working on closing of an illegal trade between the Hutts and the Seperatists on Nal Hutta. When the temple contacted them saying they were being sent to back the blockade around Toydaria they'd been fast to arrive. Since the Blockade wasn't heavily armed with attack ships they'd decided to try and take down the Seperatist Flagship from withing. They knew it was being lead by General Grievous, and if they took him down they'd gain control over the Separatist flagship, which would be in their favour. It was risky, but all acts in war was, and Saphire wasn't one to back out of an attack plan, even if it wasn't waterproof.

What they didn't know was how severe the damge on the Rebublic Cruiser was, that's untill Saphire got an incoming transmission from Admiral Yularen. She stopped running in the hallways to take the call. "General Entra, I've contacted the council as agreed. Help is not coming and we need to fall back now if we're to save as many resources as we can!" Typical. They only needed a little more time, but she knew she couldn't risk losing another Cruiser, not when the Republic was so thin on resoruces after the heavy battle in the Outer Rim. She nodded in agreement. "Call back the starfighters. Move to D-formation. Keep the hyperdrives out of enemy fire untill you can make the jump!"

"You're not comming?" The Admiral guessed from after having worked with Jedi General before. Must they all be the same?

"No. We're moving in on Grievous. If we can stop his attack on Toydaria, we have to try." Saphire said. Abandoning Toydaria now would probably mean there'd be less chance of them wanting to stay allies with the Republic. Besides, this was a chance to capture Grievous, something that would be a huge win for the Republic. However, the odds wern't really in their favor. Two jedi against an entire fleet of Seperatist? However, Grievous didn't know they had infiltrated the flagship yet. If they keept the element of surprise, they could gain the upper hand.

"I'd argue against you, but I have a feeling I won't be sucessful." The Admiral nodded. "Good luck." He said before the transmission ended.

(It just kinda happened that I opened with action xD Hope that's cool. I know we talked about a mission and now it's in the middle of a mission. Wasn't sure where you wanted your girl to be, if she's on the ship (the cruiser) or maybe another ship where obi-wan and the others are, or whererer you like ^^ I'm up for anything. I just tried to give us a start, and it was so much more diffucult to write star wars when I'm not used to it. haha. I'm thinking that maybe the cruiser has to fall back and jumps to hyperdrive, leaving my girl and Diek to go against grievous. But well, maybe it doesn't end that good and either they could get capture or maybe they could follow Grievous if he escapes or even if the flag ship ends up crashing onto the planet? I don't know but something to maybe need assistance or saving from the other characters? If your girl has been on the Cruiser ship maybe she knows about them being on the ship and she could be the one who tells the Jedi about what happened or something? Feel free to add any ideas!)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Post by Lily07 Wed Mar 09, 2022 9:16 pm

(I like that we start in the middle of the action! it's way more fun this way ^^
I think i'll have my girl on the cruiser ship, knowing that Saphire and Diek are attempting to go against Grievous, so once things go wrong, she'll be the one to go get the help of the others (like Anakin and so on~)
I like how this is going ^^ we'll see where it leads! But i like the idea of them crashing onto the planet and needing basically a rescue mission as they hide from Grievous or something like that
We'll see! but so far, this is a great start. Thanks!
It is a lot of work to get used to rplayin Star Wars haha but i think this will be great~)

Noreen was running around the Republic Star Cruiser like a madwoman.
Everything was breaking. They were being attacked, hard. She tried her best to stop bumping onto the Clones and droids that went around the ship, as she tried to do her job.
It wasn't easy, to say the least. Not only was she extremely stressed about the shields being down and the incoming, relentless attacks they were under, but also she knew about Diek and his Master's mission.

She heard one of the Clones repeating Admiral Yularen's orders to prepare the hyper-drive engines and how they had to stop their attack, and her heart froze for a moment.
Nori made her way across the ship, helping out as much as she could by fixing any droid in need of repairs that she could see, but aimed to get to one of the rooms with outside vision. She finally made it to one of the nursing room - which was extremely busy and full of injured clones- and she ran towards the window it had.

Outside, she could see the terrible battle taking place. They were losing, hard.
And right there, she could see the flagship, in all its terrifying glory. She gulped, and gasped as another attack shook the ship. She held onto a bed to keep her balance, and grabbed a droid that was sliding away towards the wall.
"Got ya, little buddy" she said, smiling slightly at the droid, which beeped in response.
But her focus quickly shifted back to her Jedi allies back on the enemy ship. She frowned, wondering how they were doing, and if they'd be able to get out of there before they made the hyperdrive jump.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Post by shinefairy Thu Mar 10, 2022 6:18 pm

(Cool! Glad you like the opening! And yeah. I think that would be great! Love a good ship crash haha xD and yes. We'll start out as younglings in the star wars world of roleplay but soon enough we'll be masters haha xD
I gave Diek a blue lightsaber. Not sure what you had in mind. But blue felt like him xD can be changed if you want)

Diek gave his Master a somewhat questionable look. The two of them against an entire fleet themselfs? Against Grievous? Diek had never faced Grievous before, not in person anyway. Ahsoka had told him the story about when she fought General Grievous the first time and she'd clearly underestimated him. She'd said that it was a hard fight for her to get out of and that he almost got the better out of her, so Diek would make sure not to go in too confident. Thankfully, he wasn't alone, his Master was there and he trusted her with her decision to stay, so he just gave her a nod.

Saphire saw the slight doubt in the eyes of her padawan. She didn't judge him. It was natural to be on edge, especially when facing Grievous. However she saw him giving her a nod, in which she returned saying: "Let's go."

Saphire took the lead down the hall, she had a feeling those battledroids she force pushed earlier were on their heels and it would just be a matter of time before Grievous found out they were there. Hopefully taking out the commando droid from earlier would buy them some time.

They took a right turn, running into more battledroids blocking their passage. "Great, more battledroids..." Diek muttered. He ignited his lightsaber just after his Master had, then the blue and yellow blades starting to slice through the metallic pieces.

Saphire sliced the last one of hers apart, panted and looked over her shoulder. You could hear the sound of the footsteps from the super battledroids closing in on them. "We need to move." She told her padawan.

"Right after you!" Diek nodded, retracting his blade and hooking his hilt onto his belt before running after his Master.

After covering some distance in what seemed like a giant maze of hallways they reached the commando bridge level of the ship. "Keep your eyes peeled. Grievous might be around here." Saphire told her padawan just before the doors of the elevator opened. Let's just say that with the heavily incoming blasts, this level was more guarded than the middle level where they had entered.

Diek struggled slightly with blocking all the incoming blasts from the heavily guarded hallway. "Ugh, still think it was a good idea to stay behind?" He remarked to Saphire.

Saphire heard his comment and obviously someone had been spending time with Ahsoka, adapting some of her attitude. She didn't say anything though cause well, he wasn't wrong. Reflecting the blasts to avoid getting hit by it she backed into the elevator again and used her hand to quickly shut the doors. She exchanged a look with her padawan, saying; "Not a word."

She then used her lightsaber to cut a hole through the ceiling of the elevator, causing the panel to drop down. "Up we go." She said.

"Get those doors open!" One battledroid said, pointing it's hand at the elevator doors. Once they got the door open they saw no one was in there, however.

"What?" The droid rubbed his head

"Where'd they go?" Another droid asked, clearly confused.

That's when the sparking noise cutting through metal was heard and the battledroid looked up, only to find a giant piece of round metal cut out to fall down on top of them, crushing at least half of the droids.

"No, no, wait!" The battledroid closest to the elevator backed before it was cut sppart by Diek's lightsaber. He turned around to see Saphire cut appart the other two droids that hadn't been crushed by their drop down. He smirked. "He, nice thinking." He complimented, thinking the idea to use the vent system to escape and get the drop on them was pretty smart.

"Don't take a victory lap just yet. We still have to find Grievous and I got a bad feeling we just lost our advantage." Saphire said, knowing very well that Grievous must know they were aboard the ship by now. No way would they had taken that much fire from just entering the commando level if he didn't know they had company. It worried her slightly, but she keeps her focus on their mission. They could still do this.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Post by Lily07 Mon Mar 21, 2022 10:52 pm

(i think blue lightsaber is perfect for Diek ^^ matches his eyes!)

"General, there seems to be a malfunction on the elevator at level 2" a battledroid said, pointing at its screen.
Grievous, hunching over as he walked, got close to the droid. He narrowed his eyes.

"So that's where they are" he said with his raspy voice. "Very well. Send the destroyers after them" he ordered, turning around.
He wasn't going to get distracted. Yet still, he knew that the droids weren't going to be enough. He was sort of counting on it, as he always relished on a face to face battle. The sound of his collection of lightsabers accompanied his steps as he went back to his seat.

"Keep me updated on any more changes on the ship. If they get are proving to be more annoying than expected, i'll go deal with those Jedi scum myself" he claimed.

Another shot to their ship. Noreen gasped, and looked around at the terrified faces that surrounded her. The soldiers' worry was visible, as they both knew that retreating was the only option, but also knowing it would mean losing the battle.
She took a deep breath and looked towards the door of the room. Even if she wanted to stay next to the window, just hoping to be there to see Diek and his master's heroic escape, she knew she couldn't stay there.

But she had things to do. She needed to see if she could help out around the ship.
After patting the droid she had aided a moment ago, she ran out of the infirmary.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

(Perfect! I felt like that colour suited his personally and vibe too ^^)

Back at the Republic Starcruiser the hyperdrive engines had been charged up and they were set to make the jump. Now they just needed to turn the ship back around, preparing for the jump. As all starfighters were comming back in through the hangers it was clear to Grievous and his seperatist fleet that they were holding back on their attacks, and they didn't have much time to make the jump before they would be completly destroyed by the enemy fire.

"Close the hangar doors, prepare to jump." Admiral Yularen said, being up on the comando bridge. As they were slowly turning away from D-formation to perpare a safe jump he could see the comando bridge across on the Seperatist flagship, imagining Genreal Grievous smirking in triumph behind that mask. He turned to speak into the cruisers speakers so it could be heard all over the ship. "Attetion all crew. Preparing to jump in 4 minutes. I repeat; Preparing hyperjump in 4 minutes."

"They're preparing to jump," Diek said, glancing out the paralell windows while running along the corridor, seeing the Starcruiser was moving out of D-formation.

Saphire glanced out and saw this as well. "Good," She said, she didn't have time to say anything else before she stopped as three destroyers rolled in from the left at the end of the hallway. And not only that, but another three destoryers came in from behind them, blocking their path on both sides. The six Droidekas stood up in a pyramid formation on each side, activating their protective sheilds before they started blasting at them.

"Ugh!" Diek groaned, turning back on back with his Master so they could block bolts from each side, but even this was a lot of incoming fire to block and it was hard to keep up with all of it. "Got another great idea!?" He asked, seeing as they were cramped in there.

Saphire was also struggling keeping up with the pace of the incoming blaster bolts, given how they were cramped up. She glanced over her shoulder quickly, getting an idea. She blocked an incoming shot at her head. "Jump now!" She gave the signal to her padawan, before reaching her hand out, closing it and pulling in, causing the first Destroyer at the point of the pyramid on her side to roll forward, towards her. As it did, she jumped over it. Diek back flipped over it, sensing how she used the force and he saw how the Destroyer rolled across the hall, striking all three on his side down. He turned, quickly catching onto his Masters plan and he held his hands out at the same time as her, using the force to push the remaining two into the wall, smashing them.

Diek breathed out, bending over before looking up at his Master. "You told me not to say it, but I'm gonna say it anyway. We're so in over our heads."

Saphire rolled her eyes, looking over her shoulder to make sure all the other three had been taken out by that first one, which thankfully, they had. She was silent for a moment, also catching her breath before she smiled and turned to her Padawan. "By the way, that's a strike." She said. Back when they were young, she and Anakin had always been competing about who did it better, which was something Anakin made sure to hang onto on the Battlefield, competing with Ahsoka. Let's just say it was something they kind of addapted.

Dick looked back over, seeing she was talking about that little bowling strike. In his defense he said; "Technically, those three were mine." Totally meaning he should get those points.

"Then why didn't you handle them?" Saphire returned with a cheeky smile.

Diek opened his mouth to object, but stopped himself, knowing she got him. He pursued his lips, lowering his eyes as he saw the triumph smile his Master always somehow managed to muster when she won.

The two Jedi arrived at the sector leading straight to the commando bridge when Saphire suddenly stopped. Diek ran a couple of feet ahead of her before realising she stopped and he turned around, running back to his Master. "Why are you stopping? Grievous is right through those doors!" He stated, geaturing his hand to the doors infront of him. There were only maybe 2 more door locks and they would be coming right up on the bridge. Saphire frowned, thought on her face before closing her eyes momentairly. She was trying to sense where Grievous was, and it wasn't the Comando Bridge...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Empty Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

A mocking laugh came right from above the Jedi heads.

"Well, well, well. Look who has arrived" a voice said, echoing across the corridor.
Grievous, who had seen them approaching the Bridge, had counted on their recklessness and waited for them.
Now, with the surprise factor on his side, he released his grip on the ceiling, falling right behind them as he made a slashing sweep with one of his lightsabers.

"What? No, no, no!" Noreen muttered when she heard the Admiral's voice through the speakers.

"4 minutes... that's just not enough time" she mumbled, as she quickly made her way towards the comando bridge. Maybe they didn't know Diek and Saphire were on the enemy ship. This was too soon, they'd be leaving them behind!
Nory had to make sure they knew what they were doing. Or maybe she could convince them to hold on a little longer? They couldn't just leave, it'd be a death sentence.
At least, that's what she thought. She knew they were Jedi, sure. But that didn't stop her from worrying.
