"What about you, Master? Will you be okay going after Saphire by yourself? It could be a trap?" Ahsoka said, not really that worried about Anakin since she knew he could handle himself, but more worried about being left alone in battle without him. Sure, she had been in battles without him and leading troopers on her own, but he'd always been near by. What if she had questions or didn't know what to do in a certain situation? At least it felt a little bit better knowing Obi-Wan would arrive with the troops as soon as the ambush started.

"I'll be fine" Anakin said confidently. "They can't trap me if I already know it's a trap. Besides, if they see the troops fighting, they probably won't expect me to come in alone"
He explained, a slightly cocky smile on his face. He was itching for the action, and he was growing impatient, so having the clear to do this was great. Not like he wouldn't do it anyways, but this was way easier.

Diek looked at Anakin, somewhat surprised at how confident he sounded when he spoke. But he could see now why he was so admired among the others for leading battles in the war. He sure knew how to convince you. He only nodded. Them staying there sounded like a logical choices, even if he wanted to help his master of course.

Ahsoka, on the other hand, wasn't as convinced by the confident in Anakin's voice since she knew he probably didn't have much of a plan. However, she knew there was no idea to argue. "Alright. We'll stay and keep things in check here. Be careful." She nodded even if that wasn't what Anakin usually did.

"When am I not careful?" Anakin joked a bit, smiling confidently. "I trust that you can do your part" he added, looking at all of them. He wasn't completely sure this was the best idea, but he felt he had no choice. Someone had to go after Saphire.

Then they just had to wait for the troops to arrive. Only then Anakin would leave after Saphire ,as he wouldn't leave the padawans and the mechanic alone on their own.

It didn't take more than a couple of minutes until Obi-Wan made contact with Anakin again. He was on a clone wars drop ship along with commander Cody and some other clone troopers. There were also several other drop ships heading down to the surface. "Anakin, we're entering Toydairan atmosphere now. We have your coordinates.
Ahsoka, prepare to engage in battle."

"Roger that, Master," Ahsoka nodded, hearing it through his com as she started hearing the sound of ships in the distance. It didn't take long until the Republic ships peaked through the clouds and the ambush started against the separatists. Their airforce fighters started firing against the platoons of droids so that the drip ships could land and drop their ground forces & also so Obi-wan could meet up with Ahsoka and the others while Anakin could jump in the ship that R2 was flying down for him.

As soon as Anakin heard they were coming, he got on the move.
As soon as his ship landed, he ran towards it, so he could chase down the ship that took Saphire.

Once he reached the ship, he wasted no time, and took off, leaving the planet in an instant. He had no way of knowing where she was, so he relied only on his instincts, and the force.
He knew her well, so as he flew out of the planet's atmosphere, he closed his eyes, focusing on finding her.

It didn't take him long, as she was still around the planet.
Anakin narrowed his eyes as he flew closer. He could take the stealthy approach, or he could jump head on.
Maybe a mix of both, as he tended to do.

At the Separatist ship, Dooku had received news about the now ongoing battle.
"Excellent" he said. He wanted to wait a little before bringing in the negotiations. Make the enemy lose as many men as possible, while he only lost a few droids.
Once their forces were weaker, he'd let his enemies know about how he had young Entra in his power, and how he'd trade her in exchange of the planet. Or else, she'd suffer the consequences if they refused.

Obi-Wan took the front as the clone troopers advanced on the droid squadrons, Ahsoka and Diek igniting their lightsabers and following behind, reflecting incomming red blasters back at the droids. More clones joined them as their drops ships dropped them off, including Captain Rex who was ready with his dual blasters. They knew their formation of attack as they've went through it before dropping down. "Rex, make sure you keep pushing back those platoons back, we have to keep them cornered." Obi-Wan reminded Anakin's good captain who nodded. "Yes sir," Rex noddedbefore turning to his men. "Let's go boys!" He started firing his guns as they ran off to go with their attack plan.

Obi-Wan reflected an incomming blast and told the padawans. "Diek,Ahsoka. I need your help taking out those tanks. Cody and the others got our back. We need to stop Grievous," He said and the two young padawans nodded before they followed Obi-Wans lead. The three Jedi advanced forward, slicing what droids they passed along the way as they got closer, while using their acrobatics to avoid getting shot before targeting the tanks. Those tanks were essential to take down as they did much more damage than just a single droid. If they got the upper hand in the fight then they could track down Grievous who probably were hiding somewhere safe rather than engage in battle himself.

Saphire opened her eyes after sensing Anakins presence near her. He was coming for her, which twitched a smile in the corner of her lip. Usually Anakin could be rather rash or bold, especially when doing resque missions. She just hoped he actually took a moment to think about how to approach this situation because Dooku wasn't an easy enemy to face. She stood up from her meditaing position and walked over to the electron wall keeping her in there, before trying to see if there was anything around that she could use to her advantage to get out of there, or that would benefit when Anakin came.

Grievous saw his forces being under attack, as the clones came down to the planet's surface and began their push against the droids. He growled, and ran to the back, yelling orders as he ran. He could fight the Jedi without issue, but he didn't want to destroy his own army in the process.
He knew they'd chase him, so he had to put some distance, maybe wear them down. Find a more advantageous position, while the droids did the rest. They didn't seem to have seen him yet so he made sure it stayed that way, running while bent so that he could move through the droids without being seen.
But he wasn't fleeing from the fight, oh no. He just wanted to fight with all the chances on his side.

Noreen felt her heart pounding against her chest. It was the first time she felt so close to the action, as she had never been on the battlefield before. She had always stayed on the ships, providing mechanical assistance to smaller battleships and droids.
This time, however, they needed her in there. As the troops came down, their ships were under enemy fire, and a few of them had parts blown up or pieces of equipment damaged.
She took a deep breath, and made her way to the closes ship, from which more clones were descending to join the fight.

Dooku closed his eyes. As Anakin came closer to the separatist ship, the Sith started to feel a presence, one that wasn't Entra's. He frowned slightly, imagining it was a Jedi coming towards him. He could guess which one, but he wasn't sure just yet.
"Stay sharp, everyone. We may have company soon"
As he gave the order, he ordered out some scout ships. He wanted to see if he could find and destroy the enemy ship before it got close.

Unfortunately for him, Anakin was already close. He knew it'd be dangerous if he tried to keep the ship safe while also looking for Saphire, so he got the com up to talk to his droid.
"Okay, R2, this will be quick. I'll let you pilot this last bit. Just get inside the hangar while they are leaving, drop me, and get out of here. They'll chase you around, so try to avoid the bullets and stay safe. Got it?"
He knew he understood the plan when he got his response. Anakin smirked, and put his plan into action.

"Master! Grievous is escaping!" Ahsoka notified Obi-Wan as she slashed threw a droid.

Obi-Wan looked over after kicking a droid away from him. Typical. Well, he wasn't so sure but it certainly wouldn'tbe the first time. "Follow my lead!" The older Master told both Padawans, moving from their somewhat cramped position in the fight to pursue Grievous before he could get away, if that's what he was planning on doing.

Diek exchanged a look with Ahsoka before following Master Kenobi, deflecting incoming blasters and slicing through droids. He was trying his best to stay focused on the battle here, and not worry about his Master or Master Skywalker, who was going to rescue her.

The fight was equal for now, both droids and clones kept falling to the ground. It looked like it would be a battle that would last for a while...

On board Dooku's ship Saphire had devised a plan, or somewhat of a plan anyway. There were some celing pipes in the passage outside her cell. She could use those for a distraction if needed to. After all, she wasn't exactly sure what Anakin was thinking, but she knew he wasn't one with the most well thought out plans. What mostly worried her was the fact that she didn't have her lightsaber on her. Without it her only weapon was the force, and Dooku was one of the best duelists out there. She hoped Anakin's plan didn't involve having to duel him.

Grievous rushed away from the fight, searching nonstop for a place to set up an ambush. He didn't want to fight without an advantage, so he did his best to keep his distance as he looked for a more strategic position. He was a hunter, after all, and he knew when to play smart rather than rash.
But his patience was growing thin, and his robotic limbs itched as he contemplated just grabbing his lightsabers and rushing to battle.

Noreen quickly assessed the situation, and began to work. One of the closest ships had been shot in a particularly nasty place, which she knew could permanently incapacitate the thrusters, so she took her tools and started to fix it as well as she could. It didn't have to be perfect, it just had to get the soldiers out of the planet once the battle was over, or in case of having to retreat.
She was sweating, but she finally felt she was where she belonged, where she could be of help.

Anakin then patiently waited. He had told R2 to get close to the hangar, close enough for the ship to go through the barrier, so that Anakin could jump out, and then R2 would keep flying and distracting the enemy.
Hopefully, they wouldn't notice the jedi wasn't on the starfighter long enough for him to make his way inside.

And so, the plan worked.
Sort of.

Anakin rushed to one of the doors that lead inside the ship, avoiding the sight of the droids that were preparing to pilot the ships that were sent after his starfighter.
As he prepared to open the door, though, it opened on its own, and the Jedi faced a dozen of battledroids that were taken off guard, not expecting him to be there.
It took him a few swipes of his lightsaber, and a couple of jumps, to deal with all of them. But he had been spotted, his time was running short.
