Barry began to calm down, taking deep breaths. Ever since losing Wally, he had been on serious edge. Now to think he was going to lose someone else he cared about, even if they were from the future. "You guys better hope the experiment will work or else Bart is going to be in pain for the rest of his life," he said. Anyone with burns like that would be in constant pain and have scars all over them.

Zoe looked away, gripping her arm so tightly she left little bruised indents in it. He was right.

Caitlin and Cisco both frowed. Barry was right. Caitlin walked over with the blood sampe after getting it out of Bart's arm. "We'll know soon enough."

"let's hope for the best," Cisco wispered, really hoping that this experiment worked.

Barry looked at Zoe, seeing her just staring over at Bart. "Need a lift to Dig's?" he asked.

"No, I'm fine. I want to stay here," Zoe said, not looking over at him.

Barry nodded. "Let me know if anything changes," he told Cisco and Caitlin before he flashed out of there.

(Soo sad! Anyway, next step is for Bart's powers to kick in right?)

A few minutes later Caitlin came back with the sample. "Okay, it should have worked. All of his enhanced metabolistic values are here. She pulled up the info on the monitor after getting the sample connected. This is all speedforce, whichc should make his blood-corpuscles start to repair the damage." She said, checking on Bart next.

"Well, that's great, so why isn't he healing yet!?" Cisco asked.

"It appears the speedforce just got a jump start, so we might need to help a bit on the way. Cisco, can you reverse the effects of the metahuman cell. Instead of it opressing metahuman abilities get it to enhance them? That would help Bart a lot right now," Caitlin said.

"O-okay yeah. I'm on it!" Cisco said, running off to do so.

"I-It worked!? Oh, thank God," Zoe gasped out, hand over her heart. She looked at Bart. "When you wake up, I'm so kicking your ass for scaring me!"

Dick smiled and put a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You're amazing." He said.

And in 10 mintes time Cisco had the reverse effect going and they had moved the bed Bart was unconsious on to the metahuman cell, now they just needed to wait a few minutes.

Zoe's knee was bouncing as she hunched over, leaning her elbows on her knees and her face on her hands. After a couple of seconds, she asked, "How much longer?"

Cisco sighed, running a hand through his hair and answered, "About as long as I told you ten seconds ago. Maybe another couple of minutes."
