"I know, I know. You're right as always." Wally was silent before asking, "You and Carter okay?" Carter might not be his favorite person right now, but he wasn't gonna be a total dick to them.

"I'm... Okay. Carter tried to kill Thawne," Nightwing said, his way of obviosly not being fine.

"She-She what?" Wally stammered out in surprise. Carter really tried to kill Thawne? Since when did she go back to her darker ways? Why was he so surprised?

"I think she did it for you," Nightwing admitted. "I stopped her but.. I think she thought you might be Thawne's next target."

Wally scoffed and leaned back on the wall. "I wouldn't be surprised. Thawne doesn't like other speedsters being out there. He especially does not like me. Tell her I said thanks, but she's dumb for going after him alone."

"Tell me about it..." Nightwing muttered. "Anyway. Enjouy your evening, I will try to sort out mine," He said.

"Yeah, me, too. Good luck." Wally hung up and went back inside his and Mei's apartment. "Mei? Where'd you go?" He called.


Carter had already gone inside and gotten into her favorite black hoodie crop top and some black leggings. She had also gotten into their back of beer in the fridge and opened it up.

"Kitchen!" Mei called, having started a pot of coffee and brought some sweets out.


Nightwing put his phone back before he headed back to his and Cartes appartment since the police had the situation under control.

Wally smelt the coffee and he smiled a little before going to the kitchen. "Kitchen and cookies? My favorite," he teased. Cookies, sure. But a speedster on coffee? Forget about it. Didn't mean it wasn't good.


"Who was that?" Carter asked, laying on the couch and seeing him finally walking in.

"Who was it on the phone?" Mei asked, turning to him while she placed everything on a tray so they could sit in the livingroom infront of the tv.


"I think you can guess." Dick admitted, taking his maks off and going to change into normal Clothes.
