"If we do that though, we would have to experience the same thing. The only difference is XANA's attack." Jeremy said, "With Gaito's sea minions, it can lead to the same result."

"We have to try." Aelita frowned.

Jeremy gave a sigh as he nodded. "W-Wait!" Sissi interrupted, "If you guys will remember, what about me? I literally just found out my best friend is a mermaid! And that Nathalie and Kat are one too! And I don't even know what's all this stuff. If you guys do that... I won't even remember a thing?"

"I think it's best that way." Nathalie folded her arms, "Ivory I know she has the right to know. But, she can't have the right to know about Lyoko."

"Lyoko?" Sissi blinked.

"Sorry Sissi, but we need to do this." Yumi said as she looked over at Jeremy. Once after that, Jeremy activated the return to the past where everything went back to normal.


Everything seemed quiet at Kadic Academy and when the group got back to the room they last talk in, the damage was still there. "What?" Aelita asked, "I thought it would work."

"XANA must have done something to Gaito where they won't change some things." Nathalie sighed.

"Which means..." Danny asked as he looked at the princesses, "They most likely took your parents."

"Oh no," Ivory shook her head. "This is awful... Wait, if this didn't change then... is there a chance that Sissi still remembers?"

Kat's eyes widened before she growled and punched the wall. "Dammit! This-This is your fault!" She blamed Danny. "You made me go! You didn't let me stay to protect them!"

"Kat it's no one's fault!" Yumi said as she looked at Kat. "Your mother wanted to protect you and that's why she made that choice!"

"Was I supposed to do though?" Danny frowned, "If something happened to you, your parents would have been devastated along with the same thing happening to Nat."

"Danny..." Nathalie frowned, "It's not time to bring me into this."

Sissi suddenly opened the door and notice the same mess, but doesn't remember what's going on. "What the-" Sissi said as she made the group looked back at her and noticed her confused look, "Did you guys do this?! My father will know about this!"

"Sissi...now is not the time. And no we didn't do this...we just got here." Aelita sighed as she looked over at Ivory knowing she doesn't remember what happened.

"I can't believe this..." Danny muttered, "This has gone all too far..."

"It's not your fault." Nathalie mumbled.

"I tried doing the right thing." Danny sighed.

"We all did!" Jeremy said.

Ivory immediately walked over to Sissi, turning her around and pushing her out of the room. "Look, we'll talk later, okay?" She said to her. "We're... gonna figure this out."

Kat let out a frustrated yell. "I'm getting them back! Even if it means fighting Gaito alone! I am done sitting here on my ass and not doing anything!" She pushed through everyone and headed to the ocean.

"Kat, get back here!" Ulrich exclaimed.

"Danny can't you go do something!" Aelita said as she looked at Danny worriedly.

"I-I don't know..." Danny sighed as he looked down taking a lot in.

"She can't go into the ocean. It's basically what Gaito wanted." Nathalie mentioned.

"We're already struggling enough with Gaito capturing your parents." Yumi said, "I don't know what else to do."

Nathalie stood there as she sighed leaning her back against the wall. She knew her parents were taken away and they are most likely trapped in Gaito's castle, along with Kat going to face them alone which is bad timing. She just felt like there's a lot on her shoulder that she doesn't know what's the right thing to do.

"She can't go out there." Odd said, "I'm going after her." Odd said as he start going after Kat.

"I probably should come along." Aelita said as she went with the Odd leaving the rest behind.

Ulrich sighed and rubbed his temples. He was supposed to be the leader of this team and he was doing a horrible job at it. Everyone was getting angry or scared and thats exactly what their enemies wanted.

"Danny, just go clear your head. We'll talk to Kat, make her see reason. Nat, stay with me. Things will be fine," Ulrich said, grabbing her hand. "We'll let Ivory deal with Sissi. Jeremy, keep an eye out for any X.A.N.A. attacks."

Kat got to the edge of the water and she gripped her pearl. "Damn you, Gaito! You've harmed my family enough! You want my pearl so badly?!" She ripped her necklace off. "Give me my parents back and you can have it! Just give them back!!"

When she has no response, she fell to her knees, crying into her hands where they were clasped around her necklace tightly. "Just give them back..."

"I'll stay here with them." Yumi nodded as Nathalie and Ulrich went to go catch up with Odd and Aelita.

Odd and Aelita manage to reach the beach and noticed Kat crying. Both of them frowned as they walked up and started to comfort Kat, "We'll get them back." Aelita sighed.

"Aelita's right." Odd said, "Everything just became a mess at this point."

Nathalie arrived with Ulrich at the beach and noticed the 2 comforting Kat. Nathalie sighed as she felt the same way, but didn't let her emotions get to her as she figured this is what Gaito wanted. "Whatever Gaito is planning, he shouldn't have gotten to the point where our parents would get involved."


Sissi was with Ivory as they started to talk about the mess that was there and what happened. Along with her hearing some rumors about her being suspicious from Herb and Nicholas. "I don't know what's going on with Herb or Nicholas, but both of them said they have been following you and you've been doing suspicious things." Sissi mentioned, "Is there something you're hiding? Or like why you're hanging out with that group?"


Danny was pacing back and forth clearing his head while Jeremy and Yumi were examining the damage that Gaito's sea minions have done. "I'm not surprised if XANA helped Gaito remember and not do anything to return to the past except for XANA." Yumi said as she folded her arms.

"Or more like what if the return to the past never happened?" Jeremy raised a brow at Yumi.

"How is that possible though?" Danny asked, "You saw Sissi she didn't remember a thing and by the time she came in, it was when the attack was occurring."

"True..." Jeremy said, "It looks like Gaito's sea minion got back to the castle in time when we did a return to the past. Since they would usually be safe there."

"He would stoop that low... Try and bait us out," Kat sniffed and wiped her eyes. "He truly is a monster. I don't know how Sara was able to be near him."

"Sara?" Ulrich rose an eyebrow. "Who was that?"
