Young Justice Beyond

Wally grinned and he finally pulled away from her. "I love you so much," he whispered. He then unlocked the door and held it open for her. "After you."


Carter smiled a little and snuggled against him, rubbing his chest. Things were fine until they all got an emergency alert on their phones by the meta-human, something about The Flash going against the Reverse Flash.

Mei smiled and walked in first. "Thank you." She walked into their bedroom and got her top off. It was always nice to change into something else after work.


Dick arched an eyebrow and exchanged a look with Carter before he cut the movie to put on the news.

"That's right, Central City's well known "the Flash" is going up against the "Reverse Flash", another speedster known as a criminal..."

Wally was gonna say something when his own phone went off about the fight. He frowned and went to the living room, turning the TV on to watch it. "Barry..." he murmured, knowing this could get bad. Should he go help?


"This is bad...right? Eobard Thawne, big problem of the Flash's?" Carter looked at Dick, kinda worried.

"Do you need to go?" Mei asked, walking up behind him, having a slight worried frown. She'd understand of he had to of course.


"Yeah. But Barry's been up against him before. Besides there's nothing I can do. The fight will be ice rbefore I get there," Dick admitted in which was true.

"No, no... I think he'll be okay. He's taken him out before," Wally said, but he glanced over at his room where his suit was. He'd be ready to go in a second if his uncle needed him.


"Right..." Carter frowned and watched the TV. The camera couldn't keep up, of course, only seeing streaks. That is, until the Reverse Flash stopped and suddenly had a weird gun in his arms. Her eyes went wide and she shot up, seeing him activate the gun and shot at the Flash, rendering him frozen. "Oh no."

Mei's eyes went wide when she saw the Camera capture this.

"Oh no! It looks like Reverse Flash captured Flash in some sort of ice block..." The TV went on.


Dick furrowed his eyebrows. "What's that gun?" He said, not recognizing it.

"Come on, Barry, phase out of there," Wally whispered, gripping his knees. When he saw that he couldn't move and saw the Reverse Flash step closer, he was getting ready to put his suit on. However...then the unspeakable happened. The Reverse Flash just stepped up to the ice block, flicked his finger, and...


Carter gasped when she saw the ice just shatter into smithereens. Just little crystals, killing the Flash along with it. "No!" she exclaimed, hands going over her mouth.

Mei was just sitting there. In shock. She wasn't sure she quite understood what happened. She only looked at Wally, but his face said it all. It confirmed what just happened.


Dick stood up. His eyes wide. It all went so fast, and the TV didn't really give a perfect view of what happened. But the voice said it. "No... Everyone. It looks like we just lost the Flash." He turned the TV off. It felt unreal.. he ... He should have been able to phase out of there. THAT was not ordinary gun. However, all he did now was embrace his arms around Carter.

Wally didn't move when he watched his mentor, his hero, his uncle turn into little ice flakes. He began to shake and a part of him felt sick. "Barry... No..." He felt tears in his eyes, but they were hot, boiling and the next thing he knew, he was suited up in his outfit and ran towards Central City to beat the ever loving hell out of his uncle's killer!!


"No, no," Carter whispered, holding onto Dick's arms, glad he was there since she would have fallen if he had not embraced her. She normally wouldn't be this upset, but she knew that gun. She helped Shade get it from Kord Industries. She helped in killing the Flash.

"Wally!" Mei realized she called his name after he left the appartment. She knew he would do something drastic so she put her coat on to follow. Of course she wouldn't be as fast, but she needed to be there. Maybe she could help with her healing abilities.


"It's okay," Dick wispered, he knew it wasn't. But he just wanted to comfort her. He stroked her hair. He wondered if Wally knew... or Iris. God no. He knew what it wa slike to lose a family member.
