Kid Flash listened to him before he left because if he stayed there any longer, then he was going to kill him. Once he was outside of the prison, he let out a breathe and ran his hands over his cowl and hair.

Nightwing made sure the guards locked him up again. A couple of minutes later he walked over to his best friend. "We're going to find him," He assured his best friend, knowing he was panicking.

"We better. And when we find everyone who helped that lunatic kill my uncle, I'm going to make them wish they were never born," Kid Flash told him, having a serious look in his eye.

Nightwing frowned, concerned. He placed his hand in his shoulder. "You promised you wouldn't cross that line," He said calmly, hoping he hadn't changed his mind.

"I never said I was going to kill them," Kid Flash told him as he looked up at him, a bit calmer. "I won't turn into that person."

Nightwing nodded. "Do you need anything else?" He asked. He needed to go home, check on Carter. He had no idea she was involved.

"No, I'm fine. Just tell Carter I said hi," Kid Flash said. He was gonna act like he was gonna go home, when he was gonna keep investigating further.

Nightwing nodded. "See you around," He said before he left believing just what Wally wanted him to.

With Carter, she had gone home after telling Artemis the truth. Her half-sister wasn't angry with her, and she also said she'd help find Shade, but Artemis encouraged her to tell the truth to Dick and Wally. Telling the League, eh, maybe could wait, but they both had the right to know.

So now Carter was sitting on the couch with a bottle of beer in her hand, trying to decide what to do.

Nightwing got home just a few minutes later. When he walked inside with his civvie jacket iver his suit, very much covert... Not. He saw Carter in the livingroom with a beer. He knew she didn't like beer so that was usually not a good sign. He took his shoes off and walked inside. "Hey... You ok?"


Mei was at home, just making some tea and waiting for Wally to come home. If he did. He was out late these days. But she didn't want to hold him back from... However he was grieving. She was just worried though.
