Scarlett felt the couch sink next to her and knew Dick was back. "Everything okay?" She asked him, just thinking she heard Emi. She knew how guilty she felt.


"You're not a screw up, Emi. None of this is your fault. I promise you that. How would you know what Asami's plans were?" Wally pointed out, feeling bad because he hated seeing her being so hard on herself.

"Yeah, yeah. Just Emi... I think she's having a hard time," Dick admitted, finding her hand and placing the phone in it. "Here."


"I know. But... if anyone should have known, it should have been me," Emi said, frowning. "I should have picked up the signals. Guess I'm a pretty crappy girlfriend."

"She's having a hard time?" Scarlett muttered as she inserted he ear buds before sighing. "I was a bitch just then. Sorry. I know it's been rough on her, too."


"Hey, as someone you once dated, I think you were a great girlfriend," Wally told her, hoping that didn't sound bad and would make her happy.

"You don't have to appologize," Dick said. He understood that she was moody. "I think it's gonna take some time before... things start being normal again."


Emi looked up and smiled at him when he said that. It was a little weird, but she was glad he thought so. "Thanks."

"Apparently my new normal is complete and utter darkness. Oh, and a walking cane stick," Scarlett said, grabbing it from where it was leaning on the couch.


"Welcome. So... Still no on the ice cream?" Wally asked with a little smile.

Dick frowned. "And some awesome music," He said, just trying to cheer her up. He plugged the headphones in and put one in her ear. "Here, listen at this awesome new playlist I made for you." He said, turning it on. He had put on some of the songs that they used to have at the circus for performances as well as some new cool music.


Emi smiled. "Sure," She said, why not. Maybe it would make her feel better even now.

Scarlett heard the music and she got a little smile. "Oh my God, I haven't heard this song since we were kids," she said, turning it up to hear it better.


"Alright! I think I even spotted some sprinkles in the cabinet," Wally grinned a little as he walked to the kitchen. He opened the freezer and got out two tubs before he searched for the sprinkles.

"Took me some digging, believe me," Dick chuckled, knowing how a hard time he had to find those files. Well, nothing a little hacking couldn't do.


Emi smiled and walked over to help him, she got some spoons out for them. She really did hope he didn't hate her now and was just acting nice.

Scarlett hummed and she tapped her fingers on her leg as the music continued and she felt like she was back in the circus. They'd play songs like these during the more funnier or extravagant routines. She could see it now. Well, kinda.


Wally made them two bowls and asked, "How many sprinkles you want?"

"Is it good?" Dick asked, gussing she liked it by the was she was digging along with the music.


Emi shrugged with a small smile. "Surprise me." She wasn't really too picky about that.
