Kid Flash went through each room before finding Emi in a cage, seeming weak but alright. "Emi!" He ran over before he opened the cage, surprised it wasn't locked, and grabbed her arms. "Hey, hey. Look at me," he whispered, pushing hair out of her face.


Is he manipulating objects? Miss Martian thought after noticing his movements. It was like her telekinesis, but something seemed different.

No. Its time manipulation, Aqualad told his teammates as he helped Artemis up after recovering from being thrown into her.

Artemis rolled her eyes. Great. Time turning and evil. This got better, she sarcastically thought. Glancing at her Atlantean friend, she asked, Got a plan for this?

Distraction. That is, until Kid Flash successfully gets Emi away from here. If she was the one who granted these powers to Deathstroke, then maybe we could figure out a solution to take them away. Can't do that with her here and fighting without an actual plan, Aqualad thought as he got his water bearers ready for another attack.

"W-Wally?" Emi recognized the yellow cowl. "H-he did it. He got powers now..." She said, feeling exhausted and like she was about to pass out. "I-it's all my fault."


Great... Superboy muttered, getting up after skidding to the ground, not taking much damage. But he was pretty annoyed.

Robin, all in on the plan, then went for the next attack to keep the mercenary busy. Just hand to hand combat. However, Deathstroke was a hard hand on hand fighter and even Batman struggled to take him out. But Hey. Just distracting.

"No, no, its not. I'm getting you out of here," Kid Flash said as he got up and carefully got her into his arms. Guys, I got Emi. M'gann, bring the Bio-Ship down, he thought as he ran to the nearest staircase to get up to the roof.

'On it!'

'Robin, use a flash bomb so we can make our retreat,' Aqualad thought to him after holding off against Deathstroke.

Emi smiled and allowed Kid Flash to help her aboars.


Robin threw down a flash bomb to blind Deathstroke before flipping backwards and making their retriet.

Deathstroke covered his good eye and saw the team were going for a retriet. With the girl. He knew he could stop them but he decided not to. He got what he wanted. So he was pretty happy.

"Emi!!" Scarlett ran over after Kid Flash brought them aboard. She helped Emi onto a table that was formed, glad she was okay before the others were all joining them from the roof.

"Everyone, hang on!" Miss Martian said, quickly sitting down and having a rough take off so Deathstroke didn't have time to stop them with his new powers.

Kid Flash grabbed onto a chair when the force nearly made him fly back and he sighed out a little. "That was close..."

"I had a feeling he let us go on purpose. He got what he wanted," Artemis said, looking down after they left the scene.

"Yeah, seems so," Robin frowned before checking on Emi. "How are you feeling?"

"Exhausted..." Emi said, trying to stay awake and not pass out.

"Stay awake for me, Em. At least until we get you looked at," Kid Flash told Emi as he rubbed her hand.

"You should've let me handle him!" Scarlett snapped, still angry by being left behind.

"He could control time. There was nothing you could have done," Superboy stated.

Aqualad sighed. "He's right. We were the underdogs in this fight."

"If Deathstroke can control time, there's no telling what he'll do," Miss Martian said. This wasn't good.

"We can worry about what he'll do once we make sure Emi is okay," Kid Flash said, just focusing on making sure she was better.

About an hour later the team were back at the cave. Everyone was giving Emi some space as she'd been resting up. She was starting to get some strenght back now.
Emi had no idea what Deathstroke did, but it sure took all her energy. At least it was comming back now.
