"Oh, I, um..." Wally rubbed back of his neck," I called her up to see how she was doing and I suggested she gets some fresh air so I came over and we went to the park. Got her some ice cream, we talked and then saw some posters for a kite flying contest so we went to that corner store by outside of the park and bought some ice cream for her little brother to convince him to let us borrow the kite. Was totally her idea, so I went along with it and he's going to let us use it. And now we're going to be going back to do the contest. Got no idea if there's any prizes or not but..." He shrugged. " If it makes you feel better, gets her to smile and feel more comfortable, then I'm fine with that."


Scarlett dodged his swipes before doing a twirl and punched his ugly face. And she added a little bit of fire to that much too.

Erik just continue to smirk as he watched. She had a light inside of her that he liked so much.

"Yeah, I hear you." Dick said, nodding with a small smile. "She deserves some fun after what she's been through. Deserves to feel... normal, I guess," He said, since Emi hadn't had normal in her life for quite some time. "That was nice of you," He added. "To take her." Even if he knew Wally still liked Emi, since it was kind of obvious he knew that wasn't the only reason he wanted to hang out with her. Wally was a nice guy, even if he'd also been a jackass... he was really kind by heart. Dick knew that, despite what had happened between them.


Blob groaned and got hit back this time, getting a bit blinded by the light as well and he stumbled back into the edge of the ring, but wasn't out yet.

Wally smiled a bit when he heard Dick thank him. But it actually hurt when he did. He had her his best friend in a way that you're never supposed to do a best friend. Looking down, he said " you don't have to thank me, Dick... I just wanted to apologize for what I did to you. And I never meant to hurt you. So I probably don't deserve it, but I hope you forgive me? "


That was her chance! She couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally take down this guy!

And like a rocket, Scarlet launched off and she sent blob over the edge of the Ring with a powerful kick to his stomach. And she landed doing a backflip onto the middle of the ring.

There was silence before the whole crowd that was watching broke out into a fear supplies. Some groaned, having bet against her but everyone else cheered for her.

Scarlet turn to wear most of the applause was, and it was where Erik was watching with a wicked grin on his face. If she saw his expression, Scarlett would probably blush but she just raised her hands up and let out a triumphant cheer. She had done it!

Dick sighed a little. "You already apologised, Wally. Several times," he reminded him. "And... I'm working on it. Kay?" He smiled a little. He wasn't really mad at Wally anymore... Well not the way he used to be. Sure, he would always be disappointed and mad whenever he thought about it, but it was getting better. Time would heal old wounds, hopefully.

That's when Emi came back. "Hey, sorry for keeping you waiting. Do we need refill on anything?" She asked, checking their glasses and snacks.

(Toph moment!!! I am so proud. *Dries a tear playfully haha)

Sloan who'd taken a place next to Erik and some other friends elbowed him playfully. Was he that impressed already? It was quite funny to her.

"Oh, uh, yeah sure. But I can get it," Wally said with a smile. So Dick was trying to forgive him. He could work with that.

(XD!! Right?)

Scarlett got out of the ring at walked over to them. "Well, what do y'all think? Badass, an I right?" She smirked.

Erik was rubbing where Sloan nudged him. "Eh, I've seen better," he said with a nonchalant shrug.

Scarlett smirked. She could tell that he was lying, but she didn't say anything.

"Okay, thanks," Emi smiled when he got up to go refill what was out in the kitchen. She then sat down next to Dick in the couch.


Sloan rolled her eyes at Erik. "He hasn't," she called out. What? It was funny. "But you smashed it in there! How are you able to see where you're going?"

Wally got all the refills before he came back with everything, having to walk a little slow so he didn't spill anything.

"And here you go," he said as he gently gave them their drinks first while he held an extra bag of sour gummy worms under his arm. Once all the drinks were out of the way, he settle himself down and let out a relax breath. " So, do I get a tip for the great service? " He joked.


Should Scarlett tell them the truth? Obviously she couldn't lie about her fire powers, but she could still keep the Earth bending a secret. But she strugged and just said, " I can still see. Well, not like faces, or colors or anything like that. I can see things with the vibration from others. Through the Earth, " she added when she saw their confused faces."I can also tell when someone is lying because their heartbeat goes a little bit faster when they lie, Erik."

Erik just held his hands up in defeat. " Guilty, " he said with a light chuckle. " When did you get your powers anyway? "

Now that was a story she didn't want to go into. " Let's just say it wasn't a happy moment in my life, and let's leave it at that. "

Erik look at her before he nodded. " I totally understand, " he said. " I have a feeling that Sloan already told you about why I'm here. It wasn't a happy time for me either. "

"I know. I'm so sorry, " Scarlett told him with a deep frown on her face. To come to America only to be taken by metahuman traffickers.... Even she couldn't handle that. The messed up doctor was one thing, but that? That was a whole other ball field.

"You get the honours of starting the movie again?" Emi offered him the controller, joking of course.

Dick chuckled a little, knowing she was playing along. How could you say no to that honour?


"At least you're both in better places now," Sloan said, putting her hands on their shoulders before looking at Scarlett. "So will I see you next week? We run these every Tuesday and Thursday evening." She explained.

Ful Wally chuckled as well, knowing she was playing along. " Why, thank you, " he said with a playful bow before grabbing the remote and pressing play on the TV. He sat the remote down and leaned back, kind of wishing he could prop his feet up but he wouldn't disrespect Emi's house that way.


"6:00 right? " Scarlett asked her, just to make sure.

"Yep," Eric said with a nod. He then held his arm out, trying to be "smooth". "Need an escort? "

Scarlet playfully scoffed. She was trying to hide the blush that was rising to her cheeks. " Thanks, but no thanks. I'll see you guys on Tuesday! " And with that, she gave a final wave and left. She just hoped that her parents hadn't figured out that she was gone.

Emi giggled a little before they all went back to watching the movie. Her mother had been putting her brother to bed in the meantime since it was getting pretty late, and to leave Emi and her friends alone she had sat down to read a book in their bedroom so that they could have the livingroom alone. Emi, although the movie was good, yawned a little as she leaned back against the couch. She usually wasn't one to fall asleep during movies, but today had to be an exception. Guess she was more tired than she thought from the whole Slade incident, cause soon enough she'd fallen asleep and her head started leaning against Dick who were sitting on her left side, while Wally sat on her right side.

Dick didn't notice untill he felt a familiar head start to dip onto his shoulder. He glanced down and noticed Emi had fallen asleep, he then glanced at Wally, wondering if he's noticed since she seemed to have her feet snuggled up against him. 


"See you!" Sloan gave her a wave before hitting Erik in the side with her elbow. "Smooth," She teased him, giving him a smirk and wiggly eyes.
