"Perhaps you could talk to your parents about coming back? Your dad is human, too, right?" Ulrich asked.

"Yeah he is," Nathalie sighed as she glanced over at her parents happily being together. She took a deep breath and quickly kissed Ulrich on the cheek and grabbed his hand and swam over to her parents. "Hey mom, dad."


"I know I'm not." Danny said as he stuck his tongue out at Kat.

"Alright, I think we're almost done here then tomorrow we can have a big party to celebrate the kingdom getting rebuilt." Luchia said.

"Have you girls already talked about where it's going to be?" Kaito blinked as he didn't know about this.

"Of course! It's here!" Luchia grinned, "Since the other kingdoms are pretty far. Coco is kind of near by, but like Karen and Noel, they are pretty far. Then there's Rina and Hanon along with Seira."

"We're having a party here tomorrow?" Danny furrowed his brows.

"Of course you guys are invited too!" Luchia nodded in excitement.


"Well... if you want to go back it's ok. But, right now it's not the right time." Rina said.

"I'm curious who this friend is though?" Mashiro asked as he exchanged glances with Rina, "Your friend seems like a good person. We would like to meet her."

"What about when they have family day again and we visit her?" Rina suggested.

"There's my pumpkin." Suguro kissed her cheek. He saw her face and asked, "Okay, whats wrong?"

"Its about wanting to leave once the renovations are over, right?" Karen asked Nathalie.

"I'd hope so. I live here," Kat giggled. "Well, kinda."

"Everyone will be here. Even some faces you haven't seen since you were a baby," Kaito said with a little grin.

Kat rose an eyebrow. "Umm....who?"

"You remember Nikora, right?" Kaito asked.

Kat gasped. "Aunt Nikora is coming, too!?" she squealed. Nikora was her favorite person ever! Next to Danny and her friends of course.

"Do I even have to go in a huge explanation when you already know?" Nathalie grinned at the both of them, "It kind of makes sense since I feel like I feel like myself on land, but I also feel like myself in the sea. But, I realize...I want to stay on land more because it's fun living a teenage life and falling in love with someone." She glanced over at Ulrich.

"You're just like your mother." Subaru snickered noticing Karen was already glaring at him, "You know I approve of him. And I don't mind for you to come back on land once your kingdom is done."

"You forgot one thing." Noel said as she arrived at the kingdom catching the attention of the 2.

"Aunt Noel!" Nathalie smiled happily as she was glad to see her along with Koribella, Jeremy, and Aelita.

"Who could have known that the Artic would be cold, but it is a bit warmer in the water." Jeremy said as he shivered a bit.

"Its not that bad." Aelita grinned.

"We came here cause I'm not sure if you got the news about having a celebration at Kat's kingdom." Koribella mentioned.


"Aunt Nikora?" Danny asked as he looked over at Luchia.

"She's been helping me out when I hide to leave the kingdom and hide from Gaito." Luchia nodded. "She's a good friend, but also can be protective over Kat like how she is with me."

"A celebration? I guess that sounds fun," Ulrich smiled, and he was happy the rest of his friends were there.

"She's also really fun!" Kat giggled and gave a little twirl. "I can't wait!"

It was finally the time for the party and Luchia and Kaito just finished setting up the place. Luchia was helping Kat put on her dress since she want her to look presentable to her friends and guests. "There you look beautiful." Luchia said as she happily smiled at her daughter as she was looking at the mirror.

"You look just like her mother when I saw her wear something like that." Kaito lightly teased as he was at the door and noticed Kat.


Danny was at the front greeting guest and noticed Coco and Taliyah arriving with Odd and Yumi. "Danny! You look good!" Odd said as he noticed Danny in a suit.

"Thanks, I guess you guys got the heads up on what to wear." Danny said as he noticed their outfits.

"Don't worry I got them on that." Taliyah happily grinned.

"We can think ahead when it comes to you guys. Is anyone else here yet?" Coco asked.

"Not really, most of these are guest from the kingdom. You guys are the only ones I know here." Danny chuckled.

"Well we'll see you later then." Yumi nodded as she walked in with the group.


After, Subaru arrived with Noel, Koribella, Ulrich, and Jeremy. "There you guys are." Danny said, "Odd and Yumi just came in awhile ago."

"I hope we're not late." Noel smiled at Danny, "You look wonderful tonight."

"Thank you Noel." Danny grinned, "Wait where's Nathalie and Aelita?"

"Aunt Karen wanted to torture Ulrich and Jeremy by dressing Nathalie and Aelita up where they get distracted tonight." Koribella snickered as she folded her arms at them.

"Hey! I don't get distracted that easily." Jeremy muttered as he glared at Koribella.

"Most likely, they will be here in a bit." Noel giggled.

"I see...well have fun at the party." Danny said as he escort them in and they went past him.


Luchia looked out as she noticed the guest are arriving in. "Oh this is wonderful." Luchia said as she looked at Kaito.

"We're not even making our entrance yet." Kaito chuckled.

"I know, but I can already see our friends." Luchia said. "You ready for today Kat?"

"Y-Yes. No. I'm freaking out," Kat said as she swam back and forth. She hadn't been to such a formal party with all of the kingdoms in... Aqua Regina knows how long! All of her human friends were with all of their mermaid subjects and other royals and she didn't want to mess things up. Sure, she was confident and stubborn and loud, but when it came to formal parties...she was a codfish.


"You don't think we stand out too much, do you?" Ulrich asked his group of friends as they were all together, surrounded by about a 100 mermaids and merman, all getting weird looks.

"You'll do fine." Luchia giggled, "I was nervous as well, at your age. Over time though, got used to it. It's what being a princess is."


"Uhhh I think we're fine." Odd said as he noticed the other fish people were staring at them.

Suddenly the trumpets went off and it was the time where Kaito and Luchia were walking down the stairs presenting themselves to the guest, from behind shows Kat and Danny was stunned at how beautiful he looked. "We would like to thank those who are able to attend this special event as Gaito is down once again and this time it might be for good." Luchia said.

"We're also thankful for the power of the mermaid princesses here who are free to join us up here with my daughter." Kaito said as he gestured the other princesses to come up.

Taliyah and Koribella swam up with them and stood next to Kat. "Hey where's Nathalie?" Koribella whispered over to Taliyah.

Taliyah furrowed her brows and noticed Nathalie swimming up to them as she didn't expect recognize her. "Found her." Taliyah said making Koribella looked over and noticed Nathalie.

Nathalie smiled as she stand next to them, "Sorry I'm late, mom wanted me to stand out." She mumbled.

"Let's give it up for them!" Luchia smiled as the crowd cheered in victory.

"That's my niece!" Aunt Nikora shouted happily making the girls laughed and smiled at Kat.

After the beginning ceremony was over, they swam down and start to socialize with the guest. "You guys look amazing." Yumi said, "Except the part where Nathalie and Aelita came in late."

"We got held up cause my mom wanted me to look perfect for the night. She also helped Aelita with that as well." Nathalie smiled as she glanced over at Aelita and Jeremy was stunned at the same time on how glamorous she looks.

"Well, I'm glad it's over for now." Danny chuckled, "It's like I haven't seen you guys for awhile."

"Hey after this though, we can go back home and live the normal school life." Nathalie mentioned.

"We're gonna be slaying XANA once again!" Odd widely grinned, "I'm excited for that."

"It'll be nice to only worry about one evil thing trying to kill us," Ulrich commented as he held Nathalie's hand. She really was beautiful.

"You can say that again," Kat chuckled a little. She looked around at all of the mermaids and frowned. Something inside her was making her wonder if she should stay there...

"Well if it isn't my favorite niece!" Nikora happily said as she swam up and hugged Kat, "Oh~ I haven't seen you in forever!" She glanced over and noticed Nathalie and her group of friends. "Nathalie! I haven't seen you either!"

"H-Hi it's has been awhile." Nathalie chuckled as she remembered how much Nikora was a hugger.

"And this must be your friends." Nikora said as she smiled at the group.

"Yup! I'm Odd! And that's Ulrich who is Nathalie's long lost lover, Jeremy and Aelita Mr. and Mrs. Einstein, Yumi, and Danny Kat's boyfriend." Odd introduced himself to the group making Nathalie glare at him.

She looked over at Ulrich and blushed as she didn't expect Odd to give him that title. "H-He's just a boyfriend Odd." Nathalie muttered.

"Has he hurt you yet Nathalie?" Nikora's expression started to change as it became darkened frightening the group.

"No Ulrich is a good guy." Nathalie noticed Nikora's expression.

"That's good!" She went back to a smile shocking the group, "Wait... what about Danny though?"

"He's a good guy!" Odd widely grinned.

"Nikora!" Luchia folded her arms, "Are you disturbing the kids?"

"N-No..." Nikora pouted.

"Nikora!" Luchia scowled making Nikora grinned.

"Alright, I'll let them have their fun. It was nice meeting you." Nikora said as she getting dragged away by Luchia.

"Your aunt is something." Danny rubbed the back of his neck as he knows not to mess with her.

As the party went on, everyone was having fun and dancing until the party ended.


Over time, Nathalie and Kat did go back to Kadic Academy to be with the Lyoko warriors while Koribella and Taliyah stayed at their kingdoms. Sometimes Kat and Nathalie helped out in Lyoko, but most of the time they would have to go back to their kingdom to make sure everything is ok. The Lyoko warriors continued to have their lunch, Jeremy and Aelita walked in as they spotted Danny, Yumi, and Odd having their food. "Morning you guys!" Aelita smiled as she got her food and sat with them.

"Where's Ulrich?" Jeremy asked as he noticed Ulrich's absence.

"Oh you know... sulking about Nathalie not being here." Odd said as he was slowly eating his food.

"I mean he does get to see her time to time, but he shouldn't sulk about her. How long has it been?" Jeremy raised a brow as he's not surprised.

"Almost a month." Danny muttered as he also missed seeing Kat. "It's understandable that being a princess is tough, but it sure does feel empty without them."

"I'm sure they will come back and spend more time with us in Lyoko eventually." Yumi grinned as she rest a hand on Danny's shoulder.


Back at the kingdom, Nathalie was finally packing up her stuff as she was ready to go back and live the normal human life once again. "Princess Nathalie, you have a call." One of her servants came in and Nathalie smiled as she swam over and answered her phone. "Hey Kat, ready to go home for real this time?"
