"If you count getting an old locker up trouble, then yeah." Brooke responded to Wally before holding up what was in her hands to show Jason and Jackie. "And sorry, only this," Brooke gestured to the bottle of alcohol and gauze she found.

"Well, that's at least always good to have," Dick said. "Guess we'll skip breakfast this morning. We should get a move on soon."

Wally was relieved to hear that she didn't run into any zombies before the step halfway outside and held his hand over his eyes to calculate the time and then looked at the distance, calculating it. After running some numbers in his head, " it's about 8:00, 9:00 at the latest. Does it look like it's going to rain anytime soon so if we leave now, and don't run into any trouble, we might get to New York by tonight before it gets too dark."

"Oh, suddenly you're a meteorologist now? " Jackie remarked with an eyeroll. She didn't mean to be snarky, it just happened sometimes in the mornings. She just definitely wasn't a morning person.

Dick noticed Jackie's snarky comment and he let out a chuckle, retorting. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed?"

Brooke snorted before going over to put the things down among the stuff they were gonna bring with them. She really missed her backpack by now. Fuck Kaldur and his men for taking it. At least she had a gun, well she was all out of ammo. But still. And it fit in her backpocket, sticking up. She would have to look for a new backpack along the way, but she had had no luck so far.

Jackie was going to make a comeback at Dick when Wally just let out a single half-hearted laugh. He laughed? He laughed!! It was actually awesome to hear him laugh after everything that happened recently. So instead, Jackie just shrugged and as she walked over to get her stuff, she said to Sam, " morning Sammy. Up and at'em."

The reason for Wally's laugh was actually because it reminded him of Artemis and he couldn't help but to laugh when he imagined her saying it to him. It made him feel good, even if it made him sad too. But he had to trudge on because that's what you did in the apocalypse. "Thanks for getting that stuff, Brooke. You can put some of that in my backpack if you want?" He asked.

Dick turned his head, noticing Sam waking upso he walked over to share the memo. "Looks like someone enjoyed couch bed at least?" he said, since Jackie seemed to grumpy that morning, probably from lack of sleep on the uncomfortable old McDonalds seats.


Brooke looked over and saw Wally offering his backback to her. She was a little hesitant, mostly because she was worried about him and didn'twant him to carry too much stuff, but she decided to accept. Wasn't like she had many options anyway. "Sure, thanks," She said, putting the stuff into his backback as he held it out to her. Of course she kept the gun in her backpocket though, she definitely thought Wally didn't want to hold onto that after what happened.

Jackie made sure her own backpack with strapped along her waist and around her shoulders before following Jason out where he was waiting for everybody else. She asked him, " So, see anything? " She prayed and not. She really didn't feel like fighting anything else at the moment.

"Yeah, no problem. " Once all of the stuff that she wanted him to carry was in the bag, Wally zipped it up and put it over his shoulders. He was a little weak from not eating and sleeping right, he would manage. He had to. That's what Artemis would want of him. Plus, he still had a team and they relied on each other. He couldn't slow them down.

"Hey," Dick put his hand on her shoulder, "No one's leaving without you," he said to assure her before walking back to Wally and Brooke so Sam could get ready.

Dick picked up on Brookes small smile as Wally before seeing the older girl walk outside. He stopped by his best friend, seeing him look after her. He would have loved to leave a teasing remark but decided not to since he felt it was a little too soon after Artemis. "Want me to carry that for you?" He offered instead, since the bag looked a little heavy on his tired shoulders.
