BROKEN [YJ/TT RPG -BFFs Only]

Dick couldn't help but to smile since it felt good seeing his best friend laugh after everything. He then raised his head, seeing Brooke had returned. Her hair was wet so his guess was she somehow managed to take a shower, but her clothes was also soaking wet. Actually all of her was wet.

"It started raining." Brooke only responded with s deadpan face as she walked inside, daring anyone to say anything about her being soaked. She had been looking for a shower or a source of water and she had managed to find a small "lake" outside, only that she didn't exactly get to the point of cleaning herself when it had started raining. It hadn't been too bad at first, so she'd quickly gotten dressed but then it had started pouring as she headed back and since she didn't exactly have an umbrella she ended up just soaking wet.

She was shivering as she walked over to sit down by the fire that they had in the center. She held her hands out towards the flames to warm them. She didn't exactly have a change of clothes since well, guess what world they lived in? Also she didn't have any of her belongings because it had been left at the cave from the encounter with Kaldur.

Wally got a relieved smile when he saw Brooke had walked back into the old restaurant. She was okay, soaked, but okay. "Well,.. shower you were wanting," Wally joked with her, trying to get her to feel better.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Jackie do a facepalm and she shook her head. Such an idiot.

Brooke gave Wally somewhat of a glare before she gave a small nod to Sam, accepting the bowl. "Thank you," she said. Getting some warm food into her should help.

Dick smiled at seeing Brooke accept the bowl from Sam. She was really starting to open up to them more. He got up and walked over, taking off his jacket and holding it out to her since he could tell she was freezing. "Here." He just saw the look Brooke gave him and half rolled his eyes. "You're going to catch a cold if you don't change," he told her, giving her a smile. He just wanted to show her that he cared.

Brooke accepted his jacket after s moment of hesitation before she gave him a nod, accepting his jacket. She put the food bowl down before she struggled a little to get her soak wet tank top off of her, not caring if they saw, before she got Dick's warm jacket around her upper body. She immediately felt warmer just by that fact. She took off her shoes and wet socks before moving her feet close to the fire.

Wally then felt like a little bit of an idiot. He should have done that. Offered broke his jacket he meant. He decided us to shrug it off and joke it off as well by teasing Dick, "and you told me I was a ladies man. Well, I guess you're more of a gentleman than I am. "


Jackie looked up at Jason being confused for one millisecond before she remembered their previous conversation. Her brows lifted a little bit before she smiled she nodded her head as she replied, " I'm 14. I think. I don't know what month it is right now, but my birthday is in February. " She could have already turned 15 and didn't know it, but really didn't matter. Life was important, especially in this day and age, but there wasn't really much to celebrate. People were still dying everyday, people were getting infected every day. And especially in her situation, she thought of a million people that she would have rather be immune than her. People like Jade. Like Artemis... People who actually made a difference in this world and could have still made a difference. But Jackie? What good could she do, had she done?

She was gripping her fists very tightly that her knuckles were white and she was just staring at a hole in the floor, a literal hole in the floor from probably gunshots or something.

"Shut up," Dick chuckled and shoved Wally's arm before sitting back down next to him. "We both know who's the soft one out of us two," Dick teased back as he looked over,smiling as he saw Brooke seemed a lot warmer now that she got his jacket and could get some warm food into her. Sometimes the people most shut off from everyone needs the extra love.


Brooke started eating the food and she nodded her head. "This is really good," She gave Sam a small smile. She appreciated that they saved food and kept it warm for her.
