"Thanks," Scarlett said, appreciating it and she grabbed his hand without really thinking. She was thinking how fun it'd be to explain to her parents what happened without them smothering her.


"He, uh...said that it wasn't your fault, and it wasn't. He also said he was going to talk to both the police and the League, try to keep your name out of it," Wally told her, hoping that'd make her feel better.

Dick didn't really think about it either as the facit that she just might want to actually look blind as she walked. "But. All things considering. Did you have a good night?" He chuckled.


"I'm not sure I deserve that," Emi said. "I killed those people Wally." She stated. It wasn't right if anyone else were till get it trouble because of it.

"I really did. I think a regular dance might be too boring for the likes of us," Scarlett giggled, getting back to the main road with him.


"It wasn't your fault," Wally told her, wanting her to know that. "None of that was your fault."

Dick chuckled. "Well, I supose," He agreed, since yeah that was kinda funny. He was quiet for a moment, not sure if he should ask. "Do you? Do you think Wally and Emi are having fun at their dance?"


Emi looked up at him, sadness in her eyes. "Yes. Yes it was. If I hadn't touched them then... I should have realized." She said, looking away. She felt so stupid.

Scarlett frowned a little but she shrugged with a smile. "I'm...sure they're having a better time than us. I don't think any spiderfreak is going to crash their homecoming," she said. She didn't wanna say they were having too fun of a time because it'd make him sad.


"You didn't know. We all thought it was safe, but its going to be from now on," Wally said, touching her covered her.

Dick had to chuckled. he knew she was kind of joking. "Yeah,.. that'd be a weird coincidence. Unless Spiderman decided to become real and evil," He teased. Smiling a little.


"How do you know?" Emi looked at him with a frown. They couldn't know.

"No way! Spiderman is way too nice in the comics," Scarlett giggled.


"I just... I just do," Wally said, not going to let her live in fear.

Dick laughed. "Yeah, well. What do you know?" He shrugged. He knew nice guys who had turned into crazy villains.


Emi frowned and hugged her knees close to herself. It didn't help. She was still scared.

"I dunno nothin'. I mean, anything. I dunno, I'm tired," Scarlett said, laying her head on his shoulder and yawned.


"Hey... I know one thing's for sure. I love you," Wally told her, just wanting to let her know that at least.

Dick chuckled. "I guess dancing makes your tired. or... second thought. That might have been the fighting," He admitted.


Emi looked up at him and smiled a little. "I love you too," She said. She wanted to hug him, but she didn't want to risk anything. Her face was still exposed and it was a scary thought that the slightest touch to it would kill him.
