Scarlett was just trying to calm down herself and she hung her head, it slightly throbbed."My head..."

Then she popped her head up. "Emi. Is she okay?!"

"Yeah, yeah, she's right here," Kid Flash told her, looking over at Emi and then remembered she couldn't see. "But, Scar, why did you do this?"

Scarlett frowned and she shrugged. "I had to make sure he couldn't hurt anyone ever again."

(Haha. Okay! Cool!)

Emi frowned before she asked. "I-is he dead?" For some reason she didn't want that answer to be yes and she wasn't sure why since she hated him. Or at least she thought she did.

Aqualad looked at Scarlett, waiting for her answer. It seemed Deathstoke hadn't survived her attack. Or else they would have spotted him.

Scarlett nodded. "I think so. He won't hurt you anymore," she said with a little smile. She felt weak. That attack and nearly dying took a lot out of her.

Emi smiled a little and rubbed her arm.

"We need to get you both back at the cave," Zatanna said, seeing Scarlett was exhausted.

"Agreed. I'll get the Bio-Ship." Miss Martian called the ship there to pick them up.

Robin and Artemis helped Scarlett up to her feet, holding her steady if she felt dizzy or anything.

"Emi, are you alright?" Robin asked, looking over at his ex and even though he didn't see any physical injuries on her but that didn't mean she was fine.

Emi looked over and only nodded for now. She just wanted to get back home.

(so should we skip to the next day or what is our next plan? I know we have the Deathstroke returning eventually but what's next on the agenda?)

(maybe we could skip to a day or two after everything. Give them some space to breathe I think would be nice.)

It was two days later, and everything was chill at the moment. Both scarlet and dick were at their respective houses, just spending time with their families and acting like everything was normal. But of course, it wasn't normal.

Scarlett didn't tell her parents about how she nearly killed herself to try to stop Deathstroke. It was just make them think she was suicidal or something. Maybe she was. She didn't even know herself. She knew she had friends, and she had a loving family but still. She felt like she was missing a lot in life ever since she lost her vision. Don't get her wrong, her newfound powers was helping but still.

School was harder than ever, and just trying to get a date with someone with even harder since she couldn't get over her stupid crash against dick, a boy who can't get over his ex too. But she was pushing on, just trying to stay happy and smiling for her parents.

Wally was eating everything inside as usual. When he wasn't playing video games, or moping again out Emi and him not being together. He couldn't help it! He was head over heels for this girl just so he could screw it up in the end just like he did with Scarlett. The overall, he was happy that they were both safe. Besides, he had a great life, a great family, and great friends. He was a part of a team and they would be there for him no matter what. So he tried to look at the positive as well.

Emi was at home. Her parents had been been working shifts to make sure one of they were home incase anything happened. They weren't going to have their baby girl get abducted like that again, so someone was always watching over her. Emi was greatful for the company. Honestly being gone all this time had been kinda lonley. It wasn't like Slade had any regular conversations with her and he wasn't usually present when he didn't need her for something. At the moment she was in the living room, just watching a movie while her younger brother played with his legos at the other end. But Emi wasn't paying much attention to the movie. Images kept playing back in her head to the past month. As much as she wanted to be happy that Slade was gone, a part of her felt bad about it. And she wasn't sure why.


Dick had been trying his best to not bother Emi too much. He would still text and call to check up on her but did want to give her some space. He understood she must be traumatised after her experience and he wasn't sure how to make it better. But at least Deathstoke was dead, so he wouldn't take advantage of her any more, that somewhat calmed him down.

(Oh! Should they have kind of like the BC therapy sessions? Emi and Scarlett anyway?)

Wally was about to start his third pint of ice cream when he sighed out. "Okay, Wall-Man, you're welcome helping anyone like this..."

He quickly cleaned up his mess before grabbing his phone and pulled up Emi's contact. He stared down at the picture that he hadn't changed, which was of him and Emi looking like a regular couple. He smiled a little bit before he dialed her number to see if she wanted to talk.

(Yes! I think so!!! I love those talks. Dinah be so good)

Emi saw her phone screen lit up on the couch, even if she had it on silent and seeing Wally's caller ID and the photo she had of him. It was kind of a goofy photo which made her smile. She grabbed her phone, thinking about it for s second before picking up. "Hey Wally."
