Re: What would happen if? Second Gen!!

(It's okay! I think I got most of the gist from the idea. And I like it! Joe is such a bastard though LOL XD poor Seth!)

Sniper rolled his eyes. " So, what am I supposed to do now? Just sit here? " Honestly it wouldn't be a bad idea since he was still feeling kind of weak even though the cure worked.

"Yes, you are, " Flash told him. He'd have to get someone to watch him so they could run home and get some rest after eating. None of them actually ate yet considering that they were going to wait until both kids were back from their patrol before starting to eat.

Nikki looked up at her husband and just smiled at him. " I don't know what I'd do without you," she told him as she turned in his arms and held her arms around his neck. God she was so blessed.

(And yeah! I'm excited for the day with John and Raven LOL is not even my date or even real for that matter! But I'm excited!)

(Okay! Cool! And yes. Just ask away if you're unsure or if anything was confusing xD And right!? Haha. I really want him to be. I wrote down these sorta details about his backstory just to define what an ass his father has and what Seth has been through. It's pretty rough)


The day after the much so eventful day the West's had been up early. It had been a somewhat quiet breakfast since most of the ranting from their parents was done last night. Jaine had, like Wally been pretty upset about the kids going off road and to Washington DC without their okay. Nothing happened, which was a enough to let them off the hook from being grounded, but they had to do extra chores. They might have been banned from the next team mission if it wasn't for the fact that they actually did something good. They managed to capture Sniper, or more importantly, save his life. Maddie had been very quiet about it, giving the same reasons as she'd told her father and brother. However Jaine believed that the fact that he let her go back when she was kidnapped come more to play.

Maddie had taken the blame for going to Washington DC since Nathan wouldn't shut up about him saying it was a bad idea. So she took the extra chores. She wasn't sure why her parents had been so upset about them going since they did save a life and captured the bad guy if important stilen tech. But after yesterdays rant she understood that her parents were just really worried about them and their whereabouts.

Maddie had left the house early with her brother and mother who were going to accompany them to the facility in Washington DC, since their father had an important meeting at S.T.A.R Labs he couldn't miss. So since that morning the three had been at Hove Tech in Washington where they had kept Sniper during the night. He'd been questioned that morning, both by the Hove chief if security and the police.

Nathan, currently in his Kid Flash uniform leaned against the wall, watching the interrogation from the window. "This is pointless. He's not going to give them anything," he stated seeing how several people had entered and exited that room that morning and they still had no new info on why he infiltrated the facility and for what reason.

"They're doing their best. They can't exactly force him to talk," Jaine, Shadow, told her son before checking the time. "I have to get going. Will you guys be okay on your own?" She asked. She was hesitant about leaving her kids after yesterday, but if she told them to go home she doubted they would actually do that.

"Yeah, we're good," Maddie, Speedy nodded, her arms crossed. "And no, we won't go anywhere and we'll let them do their job." She stopped her mum before she could lecture them about letting the police do their job and not nose around.

"Good," Shadow nodded. "Well call Dick if anything happens, okay?" she said since she knew Dick was off that day and he agreed that he could come watch them since Jaine and Wally both had work appointments they couldn't miss.

"Sure," Kid Flash nodded with a shrug before they both said bye to their mother. "So this is gonna take all day...." He muttered, seeing the officer exit the interrogation room.

Maddie rolled her eyes before she walked over to sske the officers if they got any new information.


Meanwhile at Bludhaven the Grayson's had been sleeping in and just finished brunch. Dick was off that day and had agreed with Jaine and Wally to check up on Nathan and Maddie if needed since he knew about what happened yesterday. Ariel had a playdate that day with Jack since John was going on a date anyway.

"So, Raven's coming to Bludhaven for the first time?" Dick asked as he got the dishes to do them since he wanted to help his wife while she was pregnant and Ariel was already playing in the backyard with Jack since he came over just after they are.

And just like they guess, sniper was just a silent as a statue. Every time someone new came into interrogate him, he just stared dead into their eyes or into the little desk in the room. Nothing could break him because he was already broke. Plus, sleeping in a really uncomfortable cot bed didn't help. He was tired, and kind of hungry since the food that they gave him sucked. He was also feeling kind of weak still from being poisoned all all.

They wouldn't get anything out of him because he knew that riding out his father or talking about his mission would result in so much worse punishment then they could throw at him.

"Yep, " John nodded as he practically stare down the clock. It was nearing 2:00 but he had to leave a little early so he can meet Raven at the zeta tube so he could be her " escort" for the evening.

"Aw, he's excited! " Nikki gushed from where she had put up the last of the silverware.

"Mom, you're doing it again, " John said with a slight roll of his eyes as he tried to hide his blush. Yes he was excited but he didn't want to freak Raven out or anything. He had to be cool, chill. Raven exactly wasn't a "sunshine and rainbows ".

"Did he give you anything?" Speedy asked the officer who were looking at his empty notebook.

The officer, with a "James" nameplate, who was maybe in his late 20ies looked up at the young female hero and shook his head as he put the pen back in his pocket. "Nothing. We'll have to check the security footage again, see if there's anything that might give us a lead," He said. 

"Can't you just,... I don't know. Make him talk?" Kid Flash asked after walking up, his arms crossed. 

"Pth, yeah Kid. That's not exactly how it works," James said. They were the police, they asked questions but they never resorted to violence to get answers. They had to play by the book. 

"What about like... truth serum?" Kid Flash said, seeing the look both Speedy and the officer, apperently named James, gave him. "What? It's a thing!" He stated. Okay, so maybe not actual truth serum was a thing, but there were drugs who had that sort of effect. 

"Yeah, I'll ask the Commisioner about that," James sarcastically said before walking off. 

Speedy gave her brother another look.

"It is a thing!" Kid Flash repeated before Speedy passed by him to talk to the chief of security for the building. 

"Officers wants to see the security footage again," The chief said. "Stay with the guards. We'll be back later." He said before walking off with the police officers and the commisioner. 

"So, are we stand in guards for now?" Kid Flash asked, seeing them leave and his sister walking back to him.

Speedy sighed and watched Sniper through the glass. "I guess so." There was two guards by the door, and well a bit here and there in the facilty seeing as how highly guarded it was. 

While they were waiting and everything seemed super calm and extremly boring the building was cut of by the sound of a sharp alarm. The guards outside the door emediatly gripped their riffles. "Woah, what's going on?" Kid Flash asked, seeing them suddenly go all security mode and he held his hands over his ears by how loud the sound was. 

"Stay back. Building's been compromised!" One guard said, walking over to check. 

And he was right, cause moments after that you could hear the sound of riffles going off. "What the hell!?" Kid Flash exclaimed, releasing his hands from his ears as the guard went out the hall and started blasting at, something! More guards entered the hall, firing at the enemy untill it was clear who the infiltrators were. An assasin, more specifically an assasin from the League of Assasins sliced right through one of the guards. Kid Flash backed up, seeing his sister being alert before he had to move back from a ninja star approaching, which striked the glass to the interrogation room Seth was being kept in, not shattering it, but making a dent in it. 

"Move in!" Speedy moved back as more guards came from what seemed out of no where. Well, it wasn't one of the most secure facilities for nothing. However, something about the assasins attack patterns didn't seem right. They weren't there to free Sniper, that was for sure, but it was almost as if they were after the exact thing that he attempted to steal yesterday. However, that didn't mean they cut through whoever came in their way, in this sense meaning the guards. "Wait, where are you going!?" Speedy asked as the last guard by the door left to go defend the facility. "The package is more important!"he only said. Great, even they couldn't know what was soimportant to protect from being stolen. Rolling her eyes she walked over to open the door to the interrogation room. 

"What are you doing!?" Kid Flash followed her, seeing that they per say wern't under attack, at least not for now. 

"Somone has to watch him!" Speedy stated since she wasn't sure if this was apart of his plan. If they were going to set him free or just leaving him to escape. Sure, he was wearing handcuffs and was unarmed, but still. Kid Flash groaned and made sure they wern't under attack as they went inside. 



"Where are you guys planning on going?" Dick asked his son,knowing that he would definitely not bring Raven to their house with both him and Nikki being home and Ariel playing in the backyard. 


In the same time Raven was preparing in the tower. She had on black tank top that was rough cut around the hems and a black choaker with a necklace hanging down with a raven charm. She was wearing black jeans with some cut up holes and had net stockings underneath. She had some big black boots and a black hat on since it was quite sunny that day. She looked in the mirror, adjusting her hat and put some dark lipstick on before grabbing bag. She wasn't nervous, no way... She was excited. She really wanted toget to know John better.

Sniper had heard everything that was going down, including the gunshots. And he was a sitting duck, quite literally as he was handcuffed to the table and couldn't move, couldn't do anything not even try to escape which sounded like a neat idea but the room was too small and there were too many guards.

That is, until he had seen the guards getting the hell out of Dodge, or more like DC. He stood up, still connected to the table by his handcuffs so he can get a better view. He overheard one of them say it was someone from the League of assassins, which didn't really surprise him. They definitely weren't there to help him, so they were either there to kill him or to retrieve what he cannot. Or both.

Then Sniper saw speedy coming to the room and he just shrugged. " Don't look at me, I had nothing to do with this."


"Well, I'm going to go meet her at the zeta tube and then I'm going to treat her out to some ice cream. Maybe explore around the town a little bit since this is her first time in Blüdhaven. And checking by my watch...." He checked his watch again, " I better get going."

Speedy rolled her eyes. "We're moving you," she stated, walking over and getting a hairpin out from her hair, unlocking his cuffs.

"What!? Where!? They told us to stay here!" Kid Flash protested before seeing his sister impressively unlock one hand cuff with her, was that a bobby pin? "How'd you do that?"

"Mum showed me," Speedy stated, only unlocking one cuff to get him free from the table before putting the pin back in place. "Hands," she said, meaning for him to hold them out so she could cuff his hands together again. Yeah, she did not trust him to leave him unchained.


"Yeah, you better not be late. Women hate it when you're late," Dick teased before his wife sent him a glare. Not that he had experience or anything. He cleared his throat. "We'll have fun, but not too fun," Dick said. He hadn't exactly given John that talk yet since he was stil young, but he would. Once he turned 13, maybe earlier depending on how things developed with Raven. It was still fun to tease him though since he was that age when he thought everything was embarrassing.

"Seriously? I could be better used to you without them," Sniper said before he saw the look that she gave him. He let out a breath and held out his hands. " Fine. "


John started to blush, and before either of his parents could further embarrass him, he took off.

"So, " Ladies Man ", what more about women do you know? " Nikki asked him with crossed arms but teasing of course.

Speedy then cuffed the second hand cuff back around his left hand before heading for the door.

"Where exactly are we taking him!?" Kid Flash threw his hands out. Did she even have a plan!? The entire building was under attack by freaking League of Shadows!

"Out of here," Speedy stated, checking the door and walking out, making sure that they were both following.

There was chaos. There was a fight going on at every corner. Guards were shooting, trying to defend the building from the infiltrators. But the Shadows were well trained, it wasn't exactly easy. They couldn't stay in that room, they would be cramped if the Shadows attacked them. Speedy moved between the shootings of a round of guards attacking some approaching Shadows, knocking one assassin down with her elbow before taking cover by one of the beams that kept the large building up.

Kid Flash followed, making sure Sniper was between them and didn't try any funny business. "Why are the Shadows attacking!? Are they after the same thing as you tried to steal?" He glared at Sniper. They didn't seem to be going for direct attacks against them, so they probably weren't there to target Sniper. But he didn't seem to have any contact with the Shadows? So maybe it was just random?


Dick tensed a bit before chuckling nervously. "Well, ya know.." he rubbed the back of his neck. "I know when I'm in trouble and I'll make dessert?" He offered.


During that time Raven had left the Tower, saying bye to her teammates before going to take the Zeta Tubes to Bludhaven. It was nice how they finally got a Zeta Tube to Jump City. She checked the time to make sure before she teleported herself since she and the Titans had gotten recognition.

"Does your brother usually talk this much during missions? " Sniper asked with an eye roll before he saw am

Shadow and shouted, " Get down! " Before he yanked his cuffs down so that way Speedy would get down with him and he tripped Kid Flash up so he would fall on the floor. And the next second, bullet holes were put into the exact places that they were standing. Hey then look at speedy and said,"You know, I would be a lot more help if you took these off me. "


"Yes, yes you will. Ariel! Hey, you and Jack want some ice cream? " Nikki called into the backyard.

"Ice cream! " Ariel shouted, happy and it took a lot of restraint to not just zoom into the kitchen. No powers in front of friends that didn't know about her other life.

John waited for Raven to show up, but he was checking his reflection and a window pane before he saw that these little tube was activated and he eagerly waited for Raven's arrival. Then he slightly curse himself because he should have gotten her flowers or something! Would she even like flowers? He didn't realize he didn't no much about her other than she likes books and was super edgy and kind of emo.

He was kind of lost in his thoughts until she was standing in front of him and he immediately began to blush. He stared at her for a second and he stuttered out, "W-Whoa...."

"Yeah, nice try!" Kid Flash said, narrowing his eyes since he tripped him, even if that saved him from taking bullets. Why did he do that? Probably to avoid getting shot himself. That didn't mean he trusted him. He pulled his googles down as he pushed himself up with his hands. He then ran off to strike some of the assassin's down since the fight was full on and we'll they were the bad guys.

"Kid, wait-!" Speedy sighed when her brother ran off. "C'mon!" She said, getting up and seeing the chaos going on. "He's going to get himself shot!" The guards didn't exactly pay attention to a speedster running around as they were blasting rounds to at the assassin's. However, she was not going to take the cuffs off of Sniper. She wasn't stupid. However, she had to move back to not get knocked over by a guard being tossed by an assassin. She narrowed her eyes, looking over her shoulder to make sure Sniper was still there since he could escape at any time. She then moved up to the assassin, dodging the sharp blade and striking her elbow in the assassin's neck, tripping them with her foot before trying to spot her brother and keeping her eyes out. She wasn't trying to join the fight. That wasn't their priority. She spotted her brother who had rammed an assassin down. She met his eyes and Kid Flash knew her sister meant for him to get the hell out of the fight and back onto trying to get our of there.

He got alerted by a bullet wheezing by his arm, leaving a flesh wound and he realised the guards had no idea about him being in the middle of the crossfire. He took cover behind a corner, trying to find an opening to get back without getting pieced by any other bullet. He also couldn't just leave his sister with Sniper alone. He definitely didn't trust him.


Dick chuckled before he went over to the freezer to get some ice cream out for them.


"Um, hi on you too?" Raven said, arching an eyebrow with a small smile. Honestly she didn't think she was wearing anything too special. Well. It was basically her usual clothes but she tried to look a little bit more nice.

(I'll try my best to play Raven. She is so moody XD Kind of mixing how she is in Titans/ teen titans and the movies I guess. Is that good?)
