Young Justice Beyond

Wally got his arms around Mei and just held her tightly. He buried his face into her neck, just trying to calm his breathing and not break down again. He didn't know what hurt worse...losing Sky or losing Barry. Right now, Barry. He knew he was in trouble and yet, didn't go save him. Why didn't he go help as soon as he saw their fight on TV?


Carter saw from outside the room before she left to give them privacy. All she wanted to do right now was go after Shade and strangle her, but she knew that if she did, it would look bad that she just up and left at a time like this.

"I-I'm so sorry," Mei wispered. She knew how much Barry meant to him. How much he loved him. She loved Barry. How could you not? And it was hard to understand he was gone. Well to her it wasn't. A human had killed him, of course. Humans always did bring death like her sisters had told her. But she knew now all Humans were different. And this one who had killed Barry was one of the bad ones

(I am gonna feel bad for Carter. Especially when Wally finds out)

((Me, too! Its gonna make me think back to the time where people think Carter did kill Sky, but it was all fake memories implanted by Psimon))

"I am, too. I should've helped him," Wally whispered, his voice muffled by her shoulder. He sniffed and pulled his face away to blow his nose by some tissues nearby.

(Yeah. I remember. Poor Carter)

"You didn't know what was going to happen," Mei said, frowning and she walked up, drying the tears from his cheeks. She wished her healing abilities could have helped. But it was too late now.

Wally was still silent and he looked down at her. "Thank you, Mei," he whispered, happy to have her there. He didn't know what he'd do if he was by himself.

Mei only smiled a little and hugged him again. "Let's go home," She wispered.

((Shall we skip to after the funeral and they begin to investigate the whole incident? They're gonna find out about the gun and look at security cameras xD))

A week then passed by and it was one of the hardest weeks Central City ever faced. Not only did they mourn their hero, more villains began to run amok now that the city was left without someone to defend it. Thankfully, the League had anticipated this and some of the heroes came to help when banks were being robbed or things were being stolen from buildings and apartments being set on fire.

It was also hard for Wally and his family. His parents were upset, so were Jay and Joan Garrick, Cisco and Caitlin... The worse, he had to admit, were himself and his Aunt Iris. They were not just mourning and hero, but their family. A husband. An uncle. A friend. They had the funeral a couple of days later, both for the Flash and for Barry Allen. Wally naturally attended both, but right after that, he began to investigate the fight. How did Thawne have the upper hand? Sure, he was from the future, but even he had to get help time to time to get the plan just right. So Wally started there.


Carter had attended both funerals, too, but she was becoming depressed and becoming angry. She was doing the same thing as Wally in a manner of speaking. She was trying to track Shade down and give her a taste of her own medicine, but she was coming to dead ends. When Shade wanted to disappear, she would be gone for months. Years, maybe.

(Hey. Hey. Just thought about it. Maybe mot relevant atm. But maybe Iris was already pregnant and this was the future Bart saw and then he comes back. Ya know what I mean. Just incase we want to use Bart in the future)


Thawne, believe it or not had been taken to a special cell in Arkham. Batman had helped and so had Caitlin and Cisco. It was secure for him not to escape.


Mei had been worried about Wally, Iris... The rest of the Wests and well, anyone who knew Barry. It was hard for them to lose a friend, family? He was a good man, Mei knew that. And it hurt her too.

She had tried to be there for Wally, to support him and comfort him. But it was hard. He had been distant and she didn't blame him. Maybe he just needed some more time. But it worried her, as Wally seemed to have become obsessed with finding out what happened. She was just afraid she would lose him too.


Dick was also copying with the loss of Barry. He had spenat a lot of time with Barry, probably most out of the other Justice League members as he and Wally were best friends. He had been over at their house many times and knew Barry, more than the rest of the team.

It was especially hard because he knew how Wally was taking it. And everyone else. He wished there was a way to change what happened. But what was important now was that Reverse Flash was behind bars and would hopefully be there the rest of his life. But he was also worried about Wally, as he knew he was hearing to Arkham. He had asked him to come with him, to help him get in and also if he lose control.


"Remember, you only get 5 minutes," The guard told Nightwing as he was escourting Kid Flash and himself TO zooms cell.

"We go it," Nightwing nodded and The guard unlocked the door to show the glass door where thawne was. He had an inhibitor collsr around his neck as well.
