DC: Titans 2018 (Open)

Renee grabbed the helmet and got it on before climbing onto the back of the bike. That had become routine, the helmet, the bike, hopping on and not asking questions. She had just blindly trusted Quinn, but then again, she hadn't let her astray and was trusting her with going to Central. That was the thing, why was it so imperative that they get to Central City? She had only been to Central City once for a gymnastics tournament. It was a nice city, despite all of the villainous meta-humans that once plagued it. They were all thwarted by the Flash, the city's hero. Renee never got to see the famous blur, but maybe now she could.

No, she thought, shaking her head as she grabbed onto Quinn. That's not why they were going. Something in Central city needed her, as much as she needed it. Just what was it?


A couple of minutes passed by, and things were normal and quiet in the lab. However, things were going to get a little more noisy when a regular BMW pulled up to the front and a family of four stepped out. They seemed normal for the most part. You couldn't be more wrong. The "mother" and "father" led the two "teens" to the entrance. There was no security guard, since there was an automated security system to all those in the building without a pass after hours. They were prepared, since as soon as they stepped in, no alarms went off.

"Our source says she's being held in Dr. West's private lab. Hopefully his security is just as lousy as the rest of the building," the mother chirped with a smile.

"Of course it is, sweetheart. S.T.A.R. Labs has not seen what this family can do," the father grinned before turning to his kiddos. "Kiddos, who wants candy?"

"Oh, me!" the brother jumped up before his sister got in front.

"Me first!"

"Ah, settle. There's enough for the both of you." The father got a syringe ready before injecting the yellow liquid into their veins, granting them strength that could rival up to a professional wrestler. "Now that, that is settled, lets go get our new friend."

"Did you hear something?" Dick asked, lifting his head.

Tia looked at him as if it was crazy, it was dead silent in there. Only the machine hooked up to Rachel made a sound. "seriously?" was he getting paranoid now?

Dick hushed her and stood up. We slowly walked over to the door. "Turn off the lights." He told her.

"Wha-"

"Do it." Dick said and Tia, muttering a few things got up before flipping the switch.

"Someone's comming. We need to move." Dick said.

"Wha-okay. What about her!?" Tia geastured to the girl being sedative. And who was comming? Why did he suddenly go spy mode?

The sinking feeling Renee had only got deeper and deeper into the pit of her stomach. It was almost physically hurting her. "Q-Quinn, Quinn, no time to stop for food. We need to be in Central now! Something's wrong, really wrong," she whispered. If they didn't make it, then something bad was going to happen.


The crazy family of four slowly made their way through the labs. "Father" was leading the way, a sharp dagger in hand. He saw the sign to Dr. West's office and grinned before turning to the kids. "Would you two like to do the honors?" he asked.

"I'm leading!" "Sister" grinned before taking the lead to their kills.

With that, any silence in the lab was over as "Sister" came in through the door and "Brother" came in through the glass from the next room over. "Just two of you? Should be easy," "Sister" grinned before going after Dick first while "Brother" went after Tia.

"Time to go," Dick said, seeing the two enter. He emidiatly knew they were threats and didn't have any good intentions.

Tia's eyes went wide when she saw two randoms, that even she could figure wasn't supose to be there, enter the door and breaking the window. However, her eyes went even wider when she saw the girl attack Dick, trying to kill him. However, turns out. Dick could hold his own. She turned back, just in time to see the guy come at her with a punch. However, she held her hand up, and to her surprise she just stopped the fist. But she could feel it, he was much stronger than an average human.

"Brother" just got a shocked looked when she stopped his punch. "Well, that's unfair," he said before he spotted a jacket on the back of a chair. He quickly grabbed it before kicking Tia and wrapping the jacket around her neck, trying to choke her.

"Good job, kids, keep them busy," "Father" said as he entered the room with "Mother". He gave a nod to his "wife" before she nodded back and went for Rachel, going to inject her with something a little stronger than the medicine keeping her in a coma.

"Just stay down!" "Sister" told Dick as she swatted the knife back at him, seeing her was trained in combat but she was definitely stronger.

Tia felt herself start to choak and she grabbed the jacket with her hands. However, without really thinking about it, her body just kinda self absorbed itself into fog, slipping out of the grip. What the... Tia thought, eyes wide,... well wide inside her mind.

Dick moved before spotting two other, a bit older, but he bet they were just as weird, and they walked over to Rachel. "Rachel!" He moved to help her but felt his chest get sliced with the knife from "sister" as he did. "Agh!" He held his chest, seeing his fingers get blood coated. He looked around but didn't see Tia. Crap, was she dead!?

However, Tia had heard Dick yell when he got wounded and she somehow managed to put herself back together to a solid mass before getting over to where mother was gonna inject Rachel and she grabbed a chair, hitting her back with it.

"Mother" let out a grunt as she fell to the floor. However, it didn't affect her for long and she grabbed Tia's leg, dragging her down. "Well, that wasn't very polite," she said, taking out a knife and going to stab her with it.

Because of this, "Father" had grabbed the syringe from his fake wife and injected it into Rachel. "I got the girl! We must go!" he said, grabbing Rachel.

"Got it!" "Sister" grinned and hit Dick back with a strong kick into some glass, while "Brother" went to help his "mother" out with Tia.
