Re: Young Justice, Beyond: Supernatural

Carter frowned before nodding. "Okay," she whispered, agreeing.

Dick nodded.

After they decided to meet up back home later that night, or it would most likley be morning by that time, they went seperate ways. Dick took Carter to the closet Zeta tube before he continued to drive for central city. He pictured Barry and Iris, Wally's parents infront of him. He didn't even know where to start.

Carter took the Zeta Tube to Ireland where she hailed a cab down to take her as close to the palace as she could. And when she arrived there, she reminded the guards who she was and that she needed to see the Queen immediately. All the while Carter felt sick to her stomach at the news she would have to give to Sky. She went over a thousand scenarios in her head and they all ended up really badly, one worse after the other.

Dick went to Wally's perents house first, deciding they should know first. He parked his bike and got out. It was heavy steps that lead him up to the door. He then knocked


Sky had been waiting at home, knowing Wally wouldn't want to cancel their plans for the night, no matter how late it was. So when she heard the door knock to her room she got out of the bed before running to get the door. She smiled before she opened the door. Her smiled faded when she saw it wasn't who she expected it to be. "Carter?"

But if Carter was here... Then.. Then it could only be one thing. Carter didn't even have to say anything. Sky knew. "No." She knew. She fell to her knees, tears filling her eyes before she broke down. "No... No, no..."

"Coming!" Mary's voice was heard before she opened the door and was a little surprised to see Dick there. "Oh! Dick! Hello," she greeted with a smile. "What are you doing here?" The realization didn't hit her yet, because she didn't know about Wally going off to stop the storm.


Carter got fresh tears and she immediately dropped and hugged Sky tightly. "I'm so sorry," she whispered, gripping onto her tightly.

Dick looked up at Mary with a downcast look on his face. "It's Wally," He said, and you could tell by the way he said it.


Sky allowed Carter to embrace her, not even having the strenght to hug her back. She was just covering her face as she felt tears pouring with no stop. She had trouble breathing. She didn't know where to go! This couldn't be happening!

The towel fell from Mary's hands as they began to shake. Her hand reached her lips before she was shaking her head. "No, no, he couldn't," she whispered. Tears began to blind her vision and she fell to her knees with a sob. That caught Rudy's attention and he immediately ran over to her side.

"Mary! Mary, what happened?" Rudy grabbed his wife's shoulders gently before he saw Dick there. Then it hit him, too. "Oh God," he whispered, getting tears in his own eyes.


"Breathe, Sky," Carter whispered, trying to help her calm down so she didn't make herself sick. "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry."

Dick frowned and kneeled down to be on their level. He was trying to stay strong, but it wasn't easy delivering these news. "He loved you," He said, knowing that's what Carter said few of his last words was. He knew it was true too.

He couldn't help but to think of how Carter was doing.


Sky shook her head before she finally gripped Carters shoulders. Her fingers digging into her skin. "H-he can't be gone... He just can't.." her voice shook as breaths came in and out, if barley. It felt like a nightmare. It was one. One she couldn't cope with.

Rudy tried to bite back his sob, but it escaped and he hugged Mary to comfort her and himself. Their little boy was gone. Just like that. Mary wasn't talking, just crying, but Rudy looked up at Dick to ask, "Did...Did he suffer?" He needed to know his last few moments weren't painful.


"He loved you so, so much, Sky," Carter whispered, not caring about the pain in her shoulders as Sky dug her nails into them. It helped keep her own tears away.

Dick couldn't afford to lie, and he was thankful he hadn't asked Carter for details. He wasn't there. "I-I don't know..."He frowned. He hoped not.


That just caused Sky to cry even more if possible. She hugged Carter tightly, feeling that was the only with she could hold onto. I-"I don't want to... I don't want to..." She shook her head. She couldn't live without him. She felt like she was dying, only that death would be more merceful than this. It was just pain.
