(Yes! Getting caught! Like an ambush? Ahh... hard. Maybe he doesn't come back like right away? Like he has memory loss, like in gotham with all the people they brought back?)

Impulse ran over to her and he glanced inside. "I see two guards," He stated, thinking it was weird no one else was around. Oh well, easier for them. He wasn't gonna jinx them. "I got this," He ran in, using his speed to kinda knock on both of their shoulders, before he was gone, then back, de-arming them, and then sweping them off their feet to knock them out.


Analeigh was quiet and thought about what she was going to say. "I want to do what's right." She stated before she sighed. "All my life I've been doing nothing. You've keept me from almost everything and... I've never got the chance to really get to know me. I've always just been Analeigh Wayne. People will protect me, and see me as this famous, precious daughter of Bruce Wayne that's perfect. It's like my whole life already were printed out before me." She explained. She frowned, not wanting to hurt her fathers feelings. She'd never told him she felt this way.

She looked up at her father and stepped up. "Now that I know this. I know who you are and I understand, more than you think. Y-you've lost so much. It lead you here, and you don't want to lose me. I get it. But, I see you, Dick.... everyone doing so much for me and I've never got the chance to give anything back." Analeigh said. She grabbed her fathers hand tightly.

"H-how can I do anything less when I know there are people out there laying down their lives to save others? How can I let you go out there alone, risking your life and not be by your side?" Analeigh asked, a frown on her face. She couldn't cope with losing anyone else. She wouldn't let her father do this alone. Let Dick or him go out there when it might be the last time she could see them? Not when she knew there was something she could do to help. Make a difference.

Zoe held a thumbs up before going in. As soon as she walked in, she heard something and shot up at the ceiling. A person materialized, looking kind of like a lizard, and jumped at her. "Ahh!"

He pounced on her, making her lose her gun and he pointed his long tongue at her. "Ah, gross! Get off!" she screamed, trying to push him off.

"Make one step, speedster, and she will be laced with poison by my friend's tongue," Dr. Hugo Strange said as he emerged with another one of his experiments behind him.


Bruce heard everything she said and it hurt, but the truth always did. But he was proud at the action Analeigh wanted to take, even though it scared the hell out of him. "I understand. Trust me. There are many people who think the same. Just promise me that you won't stray away from the right path, Ana. Being in this business, you have both sides, the light and the dark. Sometimes its tempting to go into the darkness." He gripped her hand before looking at Dick. "Just ask Dick. He found his parents' killer and put him to justice, but it was hard."

Impulse growled and reluctantly held his hands up. He wasn't going to risk anything, especially since he guessed that the poison was fatal. "Who are you? What do you want?"


"Bruce is right." Dick walked over with a frown. "It wasn't easy. I wanted to kill him." He admitted. "To make him pay for what he did. But. I know killing isn't the answer. It never will be. Bruce taught me that."he smiled, thankful he did.

Analeigh nodded." I'm here to listen and learn. I won't do anything rash or dangerous." She promised. She was just a beginner and didn't expect to be out in the field anytime soon. All the talk of death made her Sad and sick. She didn't want anymore death in her life.

((And to answer your question, yes, ambush and yes, we could do that ^^ It'd take a while for him to remember Zoe, but her dad will come around eventually ^^))

"Oh, nothing. You are the ones who came here snooping. However, I would like to see what makes a speedster tick. Lizard, please escort the girl to the holding room. Tombstone, please take the speedster here to my lab for further testing," Dr. Strange smirked.

The tall, grey skinned man named Tombstone grabbed Impulse by his arms and lifted him up. "Don't try anything unless you want her to die. I doubt she is anything capable of fighting outside of her guns," Strange commented.

"Hey! No! I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what you did to my dad! Floyd Lawton!" Zoe snapped as she struggled against her capture's scaly hands.

Strange stopped and turned to her, seeming surprised. He then just got a smirk on his face. "Oh, I see. Miss Zoe Lawton I presume? Oh, I will just say he was an interesting experiment. But he's not your father anymore. Take them away!" he ordered.

"Impulse!! Find my dad! Get out of here!" Zoe told him as she they were being taken to separate rooms.


"Good. Now, lets continue with your training," Bruce said, grabbing his baton. "Unless you are done for the day?" He said he wasn't going to go easy on Ana, but that might've been a lie. He'd stop if she was done for now.

Impulse frowned and didn't fight back just because he didn't want to risk Zoe getting hurt. He then tried to think of a plan. How would they get out of this one?


Analeigh grabbed her baton again. "We just only got started," She stated, a determined smile on her face as she slipped into a fighting stance.

Dick smiled and crossed his arms, stepping off the platform again. She had the right attitude. It would be interesting to watch her journey. A part of him wished Wally was here wth them, he know he would have been as impressed and proud as him to see Ana like this.

((I have a little idea ^^ What if Bruce finds out Zoe and Impulse did go to Pine Hill and noticed some weird behavior, so maybe Ana's first mission is more or less recon while he and Dick go help the two?))

(I like the idea of Batman and Nightwing going to save them. But I don't think Bruce would let Ana near any missions so soon. But maybe he leave her to do some exercise while they are gone or whatever?)

About an hour later, Zoe had been stripped of her weapons and was chained to a wall in the little prison they had in the basement. She was trying to devise a way out of there and hoped that they weren't torturing Impulse since Short, Bald, and Creepy wanted to experiment around with him. Her mind was also hoping she could find her dad so she could snap him out of whatever trance they had on him and get the hell out of there.


"Alright, that should be enough for today," Bruce told Ana after their final match. He gave her some water and a towel. "Work on those breathing exercises I told you to wind down and then go hit the showers. You're doing good, but it's gonna be a long and hard road."
