"Alright, talk to you soon." Carter hung up before she sighed out. More traveling. Well, it was bound to happen anyway. Looking at her ring, she muttered, "Don't worry, Grayson, you'll get your semi-normal life back soon." It was still kinda weird to be known as "Mrs. Grayson". She thought of keeping her mother's last name, but she dreamed of being a Grayson for a long time. So now here she was, and she was wanting that normalcy that Wally and Sky once had. Getting married, starting a family...its all she wanted on the inside.


Wally walked back over to Sky and laid a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, everything good?" he asked.

"Did you get ahold on her?" Dick asked, standing up after closing the dish washer and putting it on. He saw her looking kinda thoughtful. "Everything okay?"


"Y-Yeah. Yeah. I think so," Sky sighed. "Dick couldn't get an arrangement till Thursday. So we'll just have to figure things out when we land." Sky said, still feeling worried.

Carter snapped out of her thoughts. "Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine. Um, I talked to her. She said she and Wally were taking a flight to Ireland tomorrow and we're gonna go with them. We'll just be in Ireland until our meeting on Thursday."


"Alright, so that's a step forward. This is good, Sky," Wally said, laying his hands on her shoulders to try and calm her down. "We're going to get you back on the throne and we can go back to how things used to be. We can finally start working on that family we wanted."

"Oh, vaccation. Great," Dick teased before seeing her face. "I know." He smiled he grabbed her hands. "This will all soon be over i promise." He said, knowing she had been under a lot of pressure ever since Sky went under that spell.


Sky smiled when he said that before she felt if become a bit half-hearted. "Yeah." She felt so guilty for feeling this way. What could she tell him? That she didn't want a family? She did. More than anything. But things were different now.

It didn't surprise Carter that Dick could already tell what she was thinking. He could even tell what she was going to do next before she could. "Yeah, I know. I just feel like things are never going to be the same again," she said. Things were still going to be crazy even after they got Sky and Wally back on the throne. Poor Prince Brion and Violet were still stationed with their friends and the Team had been focusing on the traffic of meta-teens. She couldn't even think of where to begin to help there with everything going on.


Wally smiled a little before he kissed her forehead. "Come on, lets go eat. We might feel better afterwards."

Dick lost his smile a little. "I know things might be changing." he said, rubbing her shoulders a little bit. "But that doesn't mean they have to change for the worse?" He was just trying to cheer her up. At least Wally was back with Sky, and that was something that seemed to be going on the right side of the road. Or so, he thought anyway.


Sky nodded and went with him downstairs. Mary's cooking did always taste nice. Maybe it would help relieve all the stress she was feeling. Every second Vertigo even had a foot in ireland was making her scared and worried. Angry if anything. But mostly worried. Who knew what he could do?

The two reached the kitchen downstairs and saw Mary finnishing setting the table. "Oh, there you two are. Lunch is just ready." Mary smiled.

Sky smiled at Mary. She hadn't seen her this happy since...well, actually the last time she saw them was at Wally's funeral. She then felt bad again. She hadn't even went to see them after that. Because of the compulsion she was under, and then... well fair to say she was under a magical coma. She regained her smile. "It smells wonderful, Mary."

Carter felt her smile come back and she quickly jumped up, capturing his lips into a kiss as her arms wrapped themselves around his neck. He could always make her smile and feel positive about any situation. He never ceased to amaze her.


"Ah, Dad, let me help you," Wally told his dad after seeing him carry some plates from the kitchen. He got them from his dad before speeding around the table, having everything set up, even with nice candles.

"You're still a show off, son," Rudy teased his boy. His boy. He was so glad his son was alright and alive.

Dick stumbled a little and chuckled before catching her and her lips in the sudden kiss. He closed his blue eyes and embraced his arms around her to hold her close.


"Please, sit," Mary said, smiling as she pulled the chair out for Sky a little. Wanting her to make herself comfortable. Poor girl had been through a lot.

"Thank you, Mrs. West. But please no special treatment," Sky said, walking over and putting her hand on top of her. She didn't want them or anyone really to treat her ad a "queen".

Mary only smiled, and then sat down o the chair instead, and Sky pushed it in for her a bit, sitting down next to her since everything was set.

Carter held onto him for a while before she pulled away for some air. "I love you," she whispered, gently kissing the tip of his nose to be playful.


"Everything looks great, Mom! You really outdid yourself," Wally told his mom after he took a seat next to his wife.

"Its a special occasion. She made all your favorites, and even something for Sky, too," Rudy commented. He waved his hand. "Go on, dig in. I know you're starving," he teased the young speedster.

"You know it," Wally grinned before getting some food onto his plate.

"I love you too," Dick said, stroking her blonde strands out of her face. Ar least she was happy to have her best friend back. Things would be okay.


Sky smiled. She was glad seeing them all back together. Wally was happy, his parents were smiling. Everything was perfect. They were perfect. So why was something wrong with her?

Deciding to try and drop the subject Sky started eating as well. "It's delicious, Mary."

"Aw. Hush you. It's just the usual stuff. After all. Wally here never was picky with food." She giggled.
